John Cleese? See what his fellow Pythons have to say about him these days. He has been moving to the right for years. He would be a conservative on that chart now. Stephen Fry would be left of centre in 2021, so would J K Rowling. I've no idea what Atkinsons politics are.

Are you just taking his word for it? I mean I looked at his tweet and there is nothing other than a chart.

Has he reduced child porn? Again I'd want to see independent verification of that. He can say anything he likes on Twitter now,, there in no one to question anything he says. Any staff that might pull him and say it is some half truth or misinformation has been sacked.

You missed that a good chunk of the right/conservatives don't want to stay put they want to regess. Just as there is a chunk on the left that take it all too far in how quickly they want to change things.

Trump is just one man? A 3rd of the population believes the election was stolen. They believe Dems run a child sex trafficking ring. They believe there is a "deep state". They want a Christian nationalist state. 90% of Republican Congressmen fully buy in to Trump's crap and would back him in anything he did. Now if that isn't a cult I don't know what is.

Biden called Rittenhouse that after he posed with Proud Boys and they all threw the hand gesture that has been co-opted by the white power douche bags. How is he non white? He looks as white as Biden to me. If he is mixed race I'll stand corrected.
Biden was stupid for saying that though before any trial took place. He was going down to Trump's level and no one wants to be down there.

I'm asking you, yet again, to try and deal with what I've actually posted instead of making things up. At no point have I said that everyone on the left is woke, you're just openly lying now.

I can literally quote people in this thread doing the things I've criticised. You on the other hand just make up your own BS arguments on my behalf and then attack them because you can't actually argue with what has been said.

Literally already posted in this thread, can search under my posts, or indeed look at the tweets of his where he promised to prioritise it and the literal child abuse campaigner who lobbied for it and posted about it.

The meme you used, its clearly biased. Your choice of "liberals". John Cleese isn't a liberal and hasn't been for years. So that is why I quoted you. I agree that calling people far right for conservative views is wrong and not helpful. In the same way making the left all about woke isn't either.

My choice of liberals; J K Rowling, Stephen Fry, Rowan Atkinson and John Cleese... you can argue John Cleese if you like but meh... I've mentioned those people as they're prominent liberals and have been criticised by woke types.

I consider them to be either left of centre or centrist (depending on the particular individual), it makes no sense therefore fo you to argue that I'm making all the left about wok when I've literally done the opposite, I've highlighted people on the left who have been attacked.

The meme is illustrating a straightforward point I thought, if you're going to project some additional conclusions that I've not made and want to attack them then you're just engaging in your usual straw man shenanigans.

John Cleese isn't a liberal. Maybe he was 30 years ago but he isn't now.

So prominent right of centre people aren't ever attacked by people on the right for not being right enough or for being "woke"? Way too much is made of this and you always seem to be going on about "woke".

No the illustration is ridiculous as it has the right stationary and the left moving hugely to the left. That simply isn't the case. A chunk of the right has moved further right and a chunk of the left has moved further left. At least use an illustration that reflects the true state of things.
