That reminds me a bit of the American falsehood about how women were so much happier back in the 50's and 60's when they just had to stay at home and look after the man and the kids, somehow completely missing the fact that it was routine for those "happy housewives" of the middle classes to be drugged up to their eyeballs or be functional alcoholics routinely partaking of "mother's little helper". Complete with adverts from the time actively admitting that "your wife isn't happy, get your doctor to prescribe happy happy pill™ for women's problems".

Hackers stole the email addresses of more than 200 million Twitter users and posted them on an online hacking forum, a security researcher said Wednesday.

The breach “will unfortunately lead to a lot of hacking, targeted phishing and doxxing”, Alon Gal, co-founder of Israeli cybersecurity monitoring firm Hudson Rock, wrote on LinkedIn. He called it “one of the most significant leaks I’ve seen”.

Twitter has not commented on the report, which Gal first posted about on social media on 24 December, nor responded to inquiries about the breach since that date. It was not clear what action, if any, Twitter has taken to investigate or remediate the issue.

I'm glad that in the interest of "balance", Elon is using twitter to tell everyone that a Democrat speaker should be elected, so that the house has a majority of republicans, but a Democrat speaker. Can anyone post the tweet by Elon for me, as I can't seem to find it
