Still waiting on the inevitable change to deal with the false endorsement they've forced on all large accounts.
When the dust settles there should be a low drama situation where:
Many of the legacy accounts continue to have special status because it finally sank into the sink that wanted in, that large accounts are what people come to Twitter for and they have no reason at all to pay to be there.
Almost all the smaller legacy accounts have zero special status (smaller accounts are simply not a big draw to the platform)
People can buy a twitter subscription that will probably not be identical to the marks given to large accounts.
Such a load of BS to get to a situation that could have been primarily achieved just by creating a completely different mark for a subscription status and doing absolutely nothing else. Would have been less mockery and the subscription wouldn't be despised for shamelessly trying to sell the status of deserving a mark, thus destroying the status of a mark.
For all the whinging about the quality control of legacy marks the free special status marks have been rolled out by robotic means to the dead and the undeserving.
