They just got rid of the "armadillo a day" type bot accounts, but all the t-shirt or download, or cryptoscam bots are far, far worse thanks to increased visibility with blues being pushed to the top.
It actually IS a problem for the end user now. Whereas it hadn't been before.
The new anti bot limits just put in place effectively act as a time limit for users
Who knew Musk would learn something from his CCP friends; I want Twitter banned completely but good on him for implementing time limits it's a step in the good direction

I actually don't think it's coincidence that we've not had a significant western intervention in foreign lands since social media. I'm not at all convinced it's been bad for the world.

This twitter problem is annoying, i can handle a couple of days but if this goes on for a couple of weeks or more it's going to really **** me off. Fingers crossed they sort this data scrapping out quickly, whatever that is.

Thats where I sit with Twitter too, occassionally it's used to highlight amazing things happening around the world, but for the vast majority its garbage feeding more garbage to other garbage. Sadly the internet gave everyone a voice without realising the possibility that those who shout loudest aren't necessarily the best people to listen to.

It's because several services of the platform are hosted by Google and since Elon fired everyone, no one left knew until the last minute. Now the contract with Google has expired and the services have been cut and Twitter is frantically trying to migrate hosts.
But really it's just another day at Twitter, the company has been run like a mad hatter party since Elon arrived; he likes to keep his staff in wonderland drinking the cool aid
