The ongoing Elon Twitter saga: "insert demographic" melts down

Goodbye Twitter.

I didn't mind using it with Tweetbot but not any more. I had so many filters set up that I'd built up over years which made it a decent place to interact with. Now I have to use either the website or the official app and I see all the stuff I was blocking. No, it's not nice.

I've downloaded my archive, extracted all my tweet IDs and am now in the process of deleting them all. Once they're gone, I'll delete my account. I've already made it private and submitted a removal request to google which has been accepted.

I have just over 3,000 followers, my account was created in early 2010 and I've made just over 20,000 tweets

It's cost about six quid to set up tweetdelete to remove everything but it's worthwhile.

No I'm calling bull **** on one of the world biggest bull ******. I'm just going to go and jump in one of the millions of driverless robo-taxis that he delivered in 2020.... oh. Maybe a ride in the Hyperloop then.... oh.

Yes, he sets extremely lofty goals, failing to achieve those extremely lofty goals often still puts you in a good position compared to people who don't do that however.

Imaging the thinking that typing that out makes you smart
As smart as Elon Musk apparently.

Anyways... it was a flippant comment, I don't actually believe he deserves to fired and regardless of the 'work' I imagine someone will hire him regardless. It's just impossible for me to avoid pointing out that just about anyone could have done that redesign in MS paint.
