I'm also fairly certain i've seen a bunch of apps in the ap store with very very similar symbols (I'm trying to remember which one I used to use that looked his chosen one, i'm sure it was a wargaming related one).

It looks like either a porn app or something else similar but much sinister. Or just something a bunch of kids or alt righters would come up with.

Someone needs to ask him how old he is.

Lol, it is so half baked. Everything is the same except the logo has changed to "X". However the tab icon is still the bird and everything still says Twitter everywhere.

It is like he just decided to do this at the weekend on a whim.

Might just be changing it to Twitter-X.

Who knows with musk, good advertising though. In about every news feed possible and all he had to do was put an x as the new icon.

Dumbest idea for a multitude of reason but, it's certainly one way to make use of that 'X' domain name he's been hanging on to for the last 23 years.

Edit - My mistake, he purchased the domain in 2017 from PayPal.

I've just got rid of my twitter account. It's just awful now. Didn't really see much point in having it, other than to keep up with F1/football news quicker than the dinosaurs at the BBC report things. No big loss.
