Mods ban everyone on all sides and rightly so. It's just one side is such a broflake about it that they cry in another thread. Maybe it's not that you got shutdown for debating the other side but for the way in which you did it.
I mean IDK as I've not got the first clue what you're so salty about but generally speaking I've only seen the mods shutdown (normally after a warning) debates when someone can't keep a civil tongue in their head or is going way OT.
Or maybe it's just that some people like the idea of living in a free society where people can choose who they associate with and say what they want (within reason), where people are free to call others evil if they want and companies can choose whether they do business with someone.

Yeap, I absolute 100% agree with both of you, her comparison between the holocaust and "hating someone for their political beliefs" was absolutely and utterly wrong and at no point have I ever said anything different. The only single point I did make, which both of you managed to ignore I noticed, is that ICDP said multiple times that Carano's tweet compared "being Republican" to the Holocaust and in reality she never, ever said that no matter what "assumptions" people make.
To be very clear, I made absolutely NO other point about what ICDP said other than pointing out that lie and I didn't agree or disagree with anything else they mentioned about the story, just the part they made-up.

I'm fairly sure he did reply to that, but none the less, it's pretty obvious she is comparing being republican because of her posting history... To be clear, you don't think she was talking about that as her own experience as a republican? You think she was talking about what, biden's experience as a Dem? Seemed like she was taking about in her own view, and her being a republican gave her view. Just she left out the word republican as it's not needed.
If Elon tweets "running a social media site is hard", you're not going to argue that Elon is talking about mark Zuckerberg and his struggles to make Facebook successful are you?
Your problem is, my point wasn’t a lie because reading the backstory of why she made that tweet, you find she was reacting to the many star wars fans who had repeatedly campaigned for her to be sacked for her previous pro republican right wing views. She stated the election was stolen, posted support for the republican party and for Trump and also posted her transphobic views many times (none of which got her sacked). So at no level can it be debated that her subsequent offensive post (that did get her sacked), was referring to anything but her own perceived sense of persecution for her very right wing views.
In short, she is a very right wing republican supporter who was comparing people being mean to her on social media, to the persecution of the Jews in 1930s and 1940s Germany. So it’s not a leap to conclude she wasn’t worried that lefty liberals were suffering persecution.

Is campaigning for someone to be sacked from their job "being mean" to them on social media? Like if someone were to do that to any of us, we'd probably feel extremely angry since it's our livlihood. I'd say it's rather egregious actually.
