Less sweary and more about Tesla and the potential unionisation and his stance on it.

In simple terms, if Tesla is forced to unionise, they have failed at something in the company. All his staff are paid well and receive stock options within the company, company does well, they do well.

full interview for those not interested in CNBC's trickle of short clips.

censored sweary version.

He says their problem is worker retention because there are easier jobs, for what we must assume is the same/similar pay or why would they leave for these easier jobs? If that is the case then pay them more money Elon, that is how you retain staff, pay them well, give them good holiday pay and sick pay. Its not rocket science.

Don't expect a capitalist to like how the free market works when it comes to worker movement/pay...

Free market for me, but not for thee!

Yeah we've been told again and again that he doesn't care about money so he'll just keep it going with his own funds.

All well and good saying that but, prior to elon musk, buying shares of twitter is one of the worst things you can do.

Trying your luck at a casino would be better, replying to emails from Nigerian princes would be better.

So when you criticize musk know that, no matter what he does, it cannot be worse to twitter prior to musk, where the longer you are a shareholder, the higher the chance of loosing money is.

To that meme; Skinner has moaned or lashed out like a thinskinned bitch multiple times, quite like Elon; and 'Seymour' is a sus name, precisely like Elon.

Has the tech industry over there changed much since the 'A day in my life' TikTok videos that show the most ludicrously indulgent employee experience? If he has to compete with that, he is going to struggle massively..

It's a great experiment at his expense.. I am loving the entire mid-wittery going on at the moment, I'm more than happy to just let it play out and enjoy watching the meltdowns all round.

That Elon rant is positively hilarious. "Earth"? Really?

The lack of self awareness is mind boggling.
I think when the NPC media 404 error'd over his Israel visit to a point the copium employed to rationalise his visit to keep the narrative going was quite spectacular.. My take is the lack of awareness on both sides is staggering..

So maybe he is correct in that ultimately the world will judge him and others, although I suspect neither will come out smelling of roses..

Nah, better things to do. Him thinking that "Earth" will blame the advertisers rather than him is hilarious. What context do you think explains that away?

Obviously you don't as your posting on here. When he said it, he clarified that ultimately the public will be the judge, and he is right on that. If your one of those that thinks he's obviously an anti-Semite because of 1 post on X then maybe it's time to unplug yourself from the internet and touch grass.

People on this forum are getting called antisemitic in SC because they don't think Israel should shoot 9 year old children in the back.

Agreeing that Jews are "anti-white" is another step up from that methinks.

I don't think he is antisemitic though, I think he spends too much time on the internet himself.

But you do agree that Musk agreeing with a post on his platform that promotes anti-semitic conspiracy theories is extremely dumb?

Trouble is, he keeps retweeting and replying to stupid **** all the time. He will delete it or apologise and then carry on doing it.

If he's genuinely sorry about continually linking to and tweeting that sort of rubbish, but can't stop himself doing it, maybe he just needs to stop using Twitter.

Musk should just admit defeat, get over his ego, put twitx up for sale.
If he cannot go this far then step away, FULLY, from twitx and go back to the other businesses and only hold a notional board position that allows him to sack the board as owner but play no active part in the active platform.
Like a non exec board member to all intents and purposes.

Clearly the world does not align with his view on free speech.
Shame his view isn't free speech anyway.

Musk really isn't giving off vibes of someone who doesn't care about the money. I guess thats just a hot take from excuse monkeys.

Yeah and Musk himself even said it was a really dumb thing to do. So he's obviously more aware than people give him credit for.

In my experience people who are "aware" don't say such extremely dumb things in the first place. Especially when it is obvious that millions are going to see it and you already have a target on your back.
