So I assume they should on average overclock nearly as well as a venice?

I'm probably going to buy a 146 for a rig I'm building for a mate of mine

So what's the average overclock for a 144 or 146 on air cooling?

Can't hit 3 Ghz, highest I've managed is 2.9 Ghz prime stable for 10 hours (not sure of voltage yet as I've been using a high voltage to burn in).

Well, my A8N-SLI Premium board seems to top out at 2.8 ghz, 280 htt X 3 with stock htt volts and 1.4 v on the CPU. I probably need to spend a bit more tweaking time with this. I'm certain it's not the CPU cos it idles at 38 degrees, might need to up my HTT volts a little to get to 3.

Are people clocking 2.8+ on 146's straight away without increasing slowly from say 200 in slow short increments?

just popped in my cab2e with the bios setup for my cabbage turned the cpu voltage down to default and it booted first time.

This chip will do me it gets into windows and hits 2.7g on stock and just completed a 4m super pi, my cabbage could only manage 2.4 on stock

I'm very much a stock-voltage man, so not expecting to hit 3ghz. Thanks for the report back - I wonder what the Standard and Deluxe can do...

Not great here either

146 CABYE FPMW

sitting at 2.9ghz

at 3.0 Pi would fail

even giving it 1.6v, didn't want to go much higher really with my air cooling.

Oh well at tad over £100 still happy

Sorry Snow-Munki, do you mean that was with an Asus A8N-SLi as well? Or where you following on from a different post?! Anyway, surely you're happy with 2.9ghz!!

Have an Epox 9npa+ Ultra

ran 3dmark 2003/2005 earlier ( scores in sig ) pretty happy with results really.

would have liked to hit the 3ghz mark though.

Im having problems getting over 300 HTT on my Ultra-d. Im unsure what the problem is - ive gone from stock voltage right through 1.6, ive changed dividers, ram timmings and anything above 300 wont boot (wont go to the windows loading screen)

Can anyone help?

Aiming for 2.8ghz [[at 2.7 with 1.4v now]] with my opteron 144 (cab2e)

not sure if its bigger than that Aero one... that used to look like a Jet Engine had just been attached to your motherboard... gah can't remember the name of it. my brother uses one as well :rolleyes:

What RAM are you using? Have you dropped the HT multi?
