The Opteron Skt 939 Overclocking thread !!!!

Mate id go with T2 for a while and see if its still happens. It will take a lot of pressure off the Ram. Also my TCCD sucks above 2.7v gving all sorts of problems altho all is differnt.

Id stick with the ram idea and maybe change a few things to see what happens. Also memtest may show 0 erros but the ram can still cause BSOD's.

I had mine memtest stable for 4-5hrs once and it would reset and BSOD now and then, gave it the Burnin and its bot srashed since.

yeah, I've not pushed the voltage higher than 2.8v on this dfi system mainly because this ram in my last system just didnt improve with higher voltages. 2.9v would keep the same clock 2.8v did but when playing games the system would lock up.
lets see how i get on with 2t then.

cheers

Man i feel for u, i spent so long trying to get my TCCD chips stable on my DFi. I did and have all the settings on my site but the fact is DFI MB love UTT/ and all high voltage ram.

It took minutes to get this Mushkin ram at 250Mhz.

Also sorry to post here but is my new sig ok, i cant PM anyone to see and dont wana get fryed. :D

Dam 4:30am im on the rig to much.lol Night, i mean morning.

ah well, just gotta make sure I dont have the same problem with the next set of ram I get :) speaking of which I've been looking into these Mushkin Redlines and those OCZ GX XTC which clint had his eye on. read a few reviews and they seem to perform really well on dfi lanparty boards. then I find out both use Infineon CE-6 chips on Brainpower pcbs. I think Suman said his 2gig Corsair used Infineon chips and hes had nothin but trouble with them. ah i give up lol

oh yeah, i think sigs can be no bigger than 400x75 and a max file size of 20k. with one line of txt below

Whaa, I have to look into that...but thanx for heads up. :)

It looks like my Kingston HyperX modules has the attraction and the personality of an electricitybill in november...seems like a hopeless mission to sell them :(

I feel the 2Gb kits taking over ppl's attention from the 1Gb kits...must sell..must sell...

yeah buddy mine was a £105 oem from another retailer. just ran cpu_burnin all night coz its supposed to help when clocking apparently ? also still trying to get to grip's with my dfi lanparty expert motherboard. so many options..... it makes my head spin. ha ha. the board feels much more stable than my asus a8n-sli though, seems to play games smoother at 2.6 on the dfi than 2.8 on the asus ? strange
