No I spent a bit more, I got another HB SLI bridge too.

Seriously for gaming 1 or 2 of these cards should be plenty for 4k gaming.

It won't be faster, might be a custom binned card that will give it a run but I expect a good clocking TXP to still kick its butt!

Got odd vRAM reading in Win 7 -

Latest drivers installed, is it known bug?

Software is always getting the VRAM on Titans wrong, it is normal.

Well I have taken the plunge and moved over to the dark side from AMD Radeon.

My last Nvidia card was a GForce2 GTS back in the day, but I caved in at 22:21 on Wednesday 3rd and at 8:41 this morning it arrived.

I will not have a chane to fit it until next week.

TROH here we go!

Run a few benchmarks, seems around 50% quicker than my 980 TI with Windforce cooler - seems to be boosting to 1911 Mhz, stock cooler is a lot QUIETER, which is big plus! Might not even bother with liquid cooling later...

Depends on your definition of unplayable? I'm actually impressed it managed to get over 30 fps in the games.

Slap two inside your pic and tweak the gfx down slightly and you will be close to 60fps on 3 4K displays.

That's pretty damn impressiv to be honest. Would love a triple display
I,e that.

Sadly you could slap 4 old Maxwell TXs in and get even better results.

SOM and TR do run in 4 way SLI but not on Pascal.

If a game can use 3 and 4 way SLI on Maxwell why won't NVidia allow the game to do it on Pascal.

With a little overclock:

I managed to get 1.6 million PPD on Folding at home before I crashed it at +250MHz. Temps never went above 70°C on full fan.

You can see the dip in power when it crashed the driver at +250MHz.

NVIDIA no longer support 4 way SLI in games. This was mentioned in many news articles over the last few months, so everyone should know about it by now.

There's no point in them spending money (in terms of manhours) to make 4 way work, when it's only 0.001% of their market that actually buy's 4 cards. Far better business sense for them to concentrate on single cards and 2 way SLI.

4 way SLI on Pascal is only an option for benchmarks.

NVidia do support 4 way SLI in games on every family of GPUs except Pascal.

My point earlier was if they do it for ROTTR for example on Maxwell why not do it for Pascal on that game.

And some of us like benching for fun.

It was comments like your one that helped me make up mind about getting 4 of these cards. I was only going to get one.

I'm ordering a custom case too... hopefully that won't take too long

Here is my 2 way Time Spy score.

Absolutely bonkers for 2 cards and they overclock better than some of my 1080s.

I think you misunderstand - I actually defended you in another thread when people were questioning why you were buying 4 of them. As I said before, it's your money and your lifestyle, so it's no-one's business by you're own as to what you buy.

It's obvious to all that GPU's are more than just a hobby for you, since you give so much to the community here, spending hours maintaining owners threads each day etc. Plus the fact that you've bought 4 of the top end GPU's for the last few generations, it's of no surprise that you'd do the same for the Titan XP

I'm simply highlighting that NVIDIA already announced that 4 way wouldn't be supported in games, so IMO it's pointless complaining about something that's already been established many weeks ago.

You've already made the decision to buy 4 GPU's for benchmarking only, so you're getting what you paid for. What was supported on previous generations of GPU architectures have nothing to do with what's supported on new ones - times change after all etc.

Benchmarking is fun for sure, and all those buying 4 cards for it are sure to enjoy breaking records. I wish them all the best of luck, they'll need it to compete with the mighty 8pack!

Yeah c'mon Nvidia! Where's our RGB lighting?! Isn't that the rule for every single PC component these days?

I really like the black finish of the PT as it tones down all the RGB lighting on my motherboards.

I got the same email a day after mine had been delivered, and I'm sure some people who even ordered in the uk on the 3rd have had their cards.

So you should have had yours mate?

It seems digital river have made a right mess of the launch.

I think as the USA site ran out of stock but not the UK, the call centre in the Philippines got it mixed up and we're giving info out to us that was meant for the USA punters.

I'm may be wrong like.......

I ordered 2 cards the day after launch in the UK and they turned up.

I waited a day to give other people the chance to get their orders in first.

Did you manage to source a 4 way HBM bridge?

No you have to use the ordinary ones that EVGA and others make but they are fine.

At the moment the Pascal Titan drivers only support 2 way SLI but that will change with the next driver update which will include the 1080s and 4 way support.

368.81 which has 4 way support does not work with the Titans.
