I would like a slim one but only as my 60gb is loud. That is not enough reason to swap though.
I only got my ps3 as it was such a good deal - I rarely use it (for ps3 games or blurays anyway).

They should release an even smaller one in 2 years. It's huge compared to the PS2 slim.

250 quid isnt good enough for an 120gb PS3? I didnt think I'd see that said.

300 quid which was suspected would have been bad, 250 is pretty much perfect. and no doubt we'll see PS3 fats now sub £200

Another £50 isn't going to break the bank. Considering the PS3 started off at £500. Its came down in price a lot since 2006.

PS2 slim has an external PSU, thats why.

Surely you guys are intelligent enough to understand that the issue is obviously that I don't think (having owned one before) that a ps3 will give me £200 worth of benefits over other things I could spend the money on in my situation.

Mine is currently rent, bills, deposits and furniture as I've just moved into a new place.

I have gaming systems already so an extra one obviously has a lot less benefit than if I had none to start with.
