TNT can't find my house :rolleyes::(

Just called them up because the online tracking page said "please call" and even though they have an address with a full postcode they need more information.. Asked them what they need to know but they seem confused.

Going to collect it myself 6-7pm

This usually means your postcode is miles out of his way on his current route and he'd rather not deliver to you. I used to work for a carpet company in the offices and this is something van drivers do.
 
I wouldn't have minded but I ordered online for less hassle.

The supermarket about 500 yards away from work (where I go for dinner/browse every day) had the PS3 for the same price and Arkham Asylum for £32.

Would have been easier :(
 
In our store, we had like 10 pre orders yesterday, so I'm guessing the Slim is going to be popular at christmas as the price is bound to go down more.

Cancel or get a refund and just buy it elsewhere? :)
 
Hmmmm my password has just changed for my PSN account. That's not cool.

Luckily i was home and i had push email so changed it quickly. :mad:
 
I ordered mine late on the 28th and it's only just been dispatched today - annoyingly I can't track it with TNT until 7/8pm cos I'd just drive the 10 mins to the depot to pick it up. Oh well, my DS3 arrives tomorrow (hopefully) too - just a shame it's back to work!
 
Installed the 3.00 update via the web onto my 120Gb default drive. Now I put the 320Gb drive in I get the same message about getting 3.0 as in the screenshot. (Downlaoded the update now though).

Presumably my old drive had the Phat version of 2.8 (different to slim 2.8 I think) so it cannot even boot up without 3.00 from a USB stick. (Annoying as I updated and tested mine all with 3.0 earlier!!)

Will do it later this evening.

PS3 was 250, 198 for my 60GB, £20 for the bundled COD4 and traded in 3 games worth a tenner each (instead of Batman which was my original plan).

Also traded off my SF4 and Hori Stick for £45 and got some blu-ray movies instead.

Before I go change my 60Gb PS3 launch console after work at *******...does the new slim definitely bitstream HD sound formats to amps? I have read this online but would like confirmation :D

I am not just changing for this reason alone, main reason is the fact my old console was a launch day console so has 2.5 years of heavy usage so would be good to get a replacement for not much more money.
