nah, theres many ways to do it as youve already seen
but i did it by selecting the boat with the polygonal lasso tool, making it into a new layer.
then created a new adjustment layer (black & white), then put the cut out boat as the top layer so it remains in colour

Just testing out the Light Tent & Lighting.

Nothing special, only editing was split tone & resize/border.

Just seen that you can still see the stem of it, ah well.

Nothing amazing, at all but having been using the Nikkor 18-55 and 55-200, i cant believe the DOF the Nifty creates :cool:

Couple from today..nothing spectacular.

The one of the stadium was to show how outnumbered we were.

Being above a straight image, the top one looks very dodgy. Some reason i prefer it on a slight slant.

went out for a walk today to try and get some clear shots of the wildlife, didn't get many results though.... bit disappointed but oh well.

yeah, straighten the horizon, adjust the colour curve a bit - bit more saturation, it looks a bit washed out.

whilst going through some older pics, i found this. shot on my f31fd. was pretty impressed with the DOF on it
