Was going through my photos from last year and found a few I liked which I missed first time over.

I also had a go at building my own lightbox and got these which I was pretty happy with conisdering the whole setup cost me less that £30.

I bought myself a Nikon d40 with kit lens a 55-200mm Nikon dx swm ed and a Nikkor 70-300mm vr ed lens, i've been having a bit of a try to see what i can get it to do, still working out how to get the best out of it, looking on here i have a long way to go

Nifty Fifty's are far from it and my 17-40L isn't anywhere near as noisey as the kit lens

The lens has no effect on picture noise.

However, had you used spot or partial metering then the exposure would have been better.
