First try at water drops using my on board flash. Its perfectly possible, but an off the camera flash would give a lot more flexibility, so Ive ordered myself a Nissin Di622 from HK.
Very nice, did you colour the water or is it a backdrop? Last time I tried this I had to unleash the Apple and Blackcurrent squash.

Just took a few snaps today, still trying to get the hang of my dslr.

I like the car shots. Perhaps too much contrast since there is no detail in the dark and very light areas of the car pictures!! Try adding a bit of fill light in post-processing maybe?
The first shot is okay but I'd rather see the tyre the other way around, and the left side of the car is blown.
The second shot (of the car) is certainly my favourite only real downside is the cars in the background are a little distracting plus the car is blown out a bit again. The angle and central composition works well together. I also like the use of the wide-angle to give a good perspective.
I like the third one. Perhaps next time put the car on the right hand side of the frame to show a little more scenery and stop having the heavy black area to the left. Again really good picture. Love the texture on the road, grass and shine of the car.
Really good images. Just stop putting everything central. Also like the gravel and the sky. The subdued colours are very cool.
