watch whats in and not in the frame - for example, you've cut the crows feet off and the silver holder in the second bit also has a bit missing. Then on some shots there are a few bits in the fram that you could've missed out but otherwise some good photography there. I like #1 and #3 the best.

Cheers for the comments. I was kicking myself about the crow as that was my favourite shot from the weekend, but completely agree with what you're saying.

Definitely will keep that in mind the next time I'm out, I'm relatively happy with the mechanics of the camera now after the weekend so will focus on composition and framing next.

Few I liked from a wedding last weekend.

Competition entry?

He was great, probably spent about 3-4 minutes walking round him taking shots without him getting spooked and flying off. I think visitors to Padstow were a bit bemused with some chap taking pics of a seagull standing on a bin when there was so much else on offer. :D

I so want a beetle, want a knackered one to do up and put a V6 engine in the back seat :D

My dad had one which had a sheared bolt problem shortly after fitting discs all round. The front axle folded under! He gave me the beetle for my 18th birthday, we were supposed to work on it and get it going again. Anyway that ws 19 years ago, it's still in the garage!

I seem to be in a "70's" mood today:
