Cygnet (Species - Mute Swan)

@ Clintham - 2 great shots there, looks like you're getting along well with the 50d :)

First ever photos, like actually first ever, unboxed my TZ7 this afternoon :)
Previous photography experience is limited to Forza 3 and "Hold the camera" birthday pictures :D Took about 30 just now, can't quite get colours right just yet so B&W, mostly left untouched about from resizing, a couple had a curve thrown on them in paint.net

On that note, does anyone know how to essentially reverse greenscreen in PDN? i.e. only display a certain colour/set of colours and desaturate the rest?

Oh and we can use flickr to host our images right? If not I'll take these down ASAP and do it how I'm supposed to?

Also, flickr now seems to be flipping all my images to landscape, I had some portrait ones I was happy with but the new futuristic flickr keeps changing them when I upload?

On the new flickr what's the quickest way to grab the url, I'm used to clicking all sizes, right click, then copy image location, but now it's either go into the html and extract the address, or click through to all sizes, large, copy image location? It just seems to be a longer process with new flickr?

Please don't be too harsh, :D I have others I was happy with but, like I said, flickr flipped them, non-dSLR, nooby photographer etc.

You can change em back on flickr.

If you mean picnic then yeah, sure, but is there no way to upload them and just have them stay in portrait, it's a bit of a pain when half of your upload are portraits and flickr decides you need to spend an extra 30 minutes swapping them back.

I haven't had any problems like that? Mine stays portrait.

Well it seens the file properties are telling flickr the photos are from a TZ7 (although flickr is calling it a ZS3, the US name), even after opening, resizing, touching up in PDN, so I'm guessing there's something about orientation in there as well?

Is there any way I can get the TZ7 to not put orientation in properties?

Nice shots Mr Jones :) In a similar vein, some shots of the cake from a wedding reception (there are people too, of course, but they don't want their photos posted).

Wish I could have shot the actual wedding though.

Edit: And you Seasaw, first one is great but the second is a tiny bit blown out in parts.

I love monochrome for weddings :)

Last pic of the little girl is stunning, its in the eyes.

This was actually a small and short wedding. Registry and Reception down the local hotel. I'll have a bigger one next week at some country park/spa! :D I'm loving your first cake shot, much much nicer than the one I saw yesterday...

Another one, Just going through all my old pictures that I have been too lazy to process up until now. This one was taken way back in feburary and I am still now getting to grips with taken panoramic shots. My tripod is ok but my head is far from ideal and I am thinking about getting a specialised head but not quite sure what to go for?
