Still impressed by how sharp my Super takumar 50 1.4 is. Best £25 ever spent I think

Gorilla Pod or a solid tripod with 2 legs on the ground and 1 on the seat, if you've got cables, use it to add stabilisation by tying it on either side of the chair's head rest.

Do not drive faster than 60miles unless your car is dead smooth, exposure no more than 2 seconds or shakes and unwanted blurring comes into play. I had to shoot in the 1000ISO range at f8.0 for decent DoF as the car is small.

I personally would have loved to use an ultra wide instead.
Not sure if n1blo thinks the same :)

Love 2 and 3 Rojin. 3 in particular has some fantastic texture to it; great B&W conversion. It's a shame the background is a bit busy though and not more out of focus.

Cheers, yes it is a shame. The background is a big problem at the park, not great for photoghraphy at all. :(

Couple more:

Odd backgrounds, just the way the lighting actually fell on the day. Not sure if I like it or not. (I think the lighting on #2 was too strong, #1 seems okay lighting/contrast wise?)

Taken on my compact and then cropped even more, so it's not that great a composition, but I noticed the refraction on this one and thought it was pretty cool :)

Good idea or bad idea? Trying to art-up motorsport shooting? Not sure if it works. I've gone for high key here - I think it works for the first. Probably not for the second.

Opinions?
