To those using flickr to upload their images..

I was just wondering what dimensions / format you use to keep the image looking good once on flickr?

I find that the images i upload look like they've been sharpened to hell and the colours are different once on flickr!

Really impressed with some of the pictures in here. Can i ask a question though?

How come a lot of the pictures look better then actually seeing them in real life? I'm i the only one who thinks this. Is it because the pictures are resized or is it fancy editing.

Some of the pictures look so good they almost dont seem real like they are computer generated or something.

I like the way the tower leads yours eyes into the picture, was it desaturated in post? Either way it's got a WW2 feel to it. Maybe a tighter crop could benefit and a portrait view.

Playing around with my 10 stop nd filter the other day. Havn't had much chance to play around with it but it was a lot of fun to use in the little time I had.

These are the Larkin Toads, there's about 40 AFAIK all dotted in and around Hull.

I have a small intrest in photography but i havnt really had the moneyto buy a decent camara. But its something i will look to get into more in the future.

I will share my modest efforts though.

I on the other hand only did 20 toads as
a) I was lazy
b) There are a couple out of Hull centre, and it involves getting there without a car.
