I like this a lot, the colours in the sky are great. Plus the mill itself is interesting to look at.

Thanks. I wasnt as lucky with the weather as I'd have hoped. I was hoping for a really interested sunset sky, but it was only average. Oh well....next time!

Couple from today.
Had a bit of a play with Lightroom 3 on this first one, desaturated the colours, the flower centre was bright yellow. The ladybird was a pale yellow colour not red!

The next two are of Shield Bugs, the first one was tiny, to give you some idea how tiny, the green unopened flower he was on is a Chrysanthemum, which was no more than an inch across.

Yep she's from Newlin Beagles in Carluke but her dad - who I think is most responsible for her features - is Redcap Renaissance (aka Sheriff) from way down in the south. We got our boy from another of Sheriff's litters, and he's also got a really sweet face - in my opinion obviously. I'm just daft over them both.
A few from my museum visit a few weeks ago. I really really need a wide angle lens and was leading towards the sigma 12-24, I cant afford the 14mm L that cannon does. Can anyone tell me if the 16-35 is worth picking up over the sigma for the extra money it costs.
