Playing around with my new minolta 28mm 2.8. Seller was kind enough to include three filters. A UV one a polarizing one and a CPL one.

I'd imagine so, it's a sealed lens and camera.
I was talking to a guy this weekend who dropped his in sea water on a svalbard trip, and I've had mine in the rain/snow.
They're tough stuff TBH. (see sig for more of my evidence!)
military use them for taking reconnaissance photos i presume ?
dont tell that to the (now ex) army tog over on TP who swapped to D3's after a spate of canon failures.. he'll enjoy that debate
