I picked up a set of crashed fairings from E-bay, fixed them up and painted them myself.
Doesn't show in this picture but it also has lazer blue flake in the top coat, it sparkles in the sun :)
 
Camel, very interesting shots from you with your 8mm so far. How do you rate it? I would like a fisheye, but for the price, I feel it's too specialised...

I'm not sure if interesting is good or bad, but thanks lol. I love it actually! I'm composing shots like the above one by having the camera in live view and then just moving it around to get the right kinda perspective I'm aiming for... It does take quite a bit of getting used to, and I too thought justifying the price would be difficult, but its an awesome lens and at the moment, I'm not thinking about selling it on at all :)

Poor subject matter to be honest. If I were shooting autumn leaves I would try to make them an accessory to the picture rather than the sole focus of the photograph unless you have a macro lens and can do an interesting close up shot. I would try and find some interesting subject matter, architectual shots etc and work the theme of autumn into it that way.
