Nah, I use reversed lenses rather than tubes.

Neat, not a coupled reversed?
So you basically got a coupler for the camera fit and the lens thread? Is it good in terms of practicality?

I've so far only been able to experiment with hand held 50mm revered on to a 18-55mm IS attached to a camera. Good photos but vignetting can be annoying and focal distance needs to be REALLY close...

Just the one lens, the adapter screws into the thread. With the 35-80mm you get about 1:1 at 50mm and 2:1 at 35mm but the DOF is tiny and the focussing distance is very close.

Sorry for the phone pic but this should give you an idea:

No, none at all (at least that's noticeable). With my 18-55 IS I can get higher magnification but any lower than 24mm it's too close to use the flash.

Been working in the garden and clearing some old lumps of concrete and breaking them up with a sledge hammer. Anyway, under one of the slaps were three frogs and three newts from one of the neighbouring gardens with a pond. Anyway, I stuck the newts in a bucket to return home, but I had to get a quick photo. Put him in the bird bath for a photo shoot.
