Practising off camera flash (430EX II). I have no softbox or umbrella or anything so I bounced the flash off the back of a big 3"x3" canvas, just to the right of the camera.

The weather's been getting better over here so I decided to take my Rolleiflex out for a few walks.

I took three shots of this girl, the first two were of her looking into the distance, but they were very out of focus. This is the very last frame I shot of her, and all the elements just fell into place.

I often take shots that I wouldn't usually take whenever I shoot squares:

Nice! This is something I was thinking of having a go at. I'll leave it a little while now though so it doesn't look too much like copying :D

It's a post your picture thread not a post someone else's picture thread, so I would guess so! (That and he likes taking self portraits :))

I really like the processing on that ksanti! Is that a self portrait?

Thanks man, I've definitely been leaning towards softer processing lately.

Yeah it's a self portrait, set it up on a tripod and shot with a remote shutter. I'm actually in the photo about 7 times as the white blur in the background is from a few other exposures when I was walking through the shot with a light grey jacket. I'll try again tomorrow as I think in this one my exposures were a little too long so it wasn't so obvious that the blur was people.

I've gone back and taken out one of the walking layers since because one of the ones on the left was a bit distracting imo.

I don't think he knows what I look like though, so it's fair enough to ask whether its a photo of me or someone else, rather than taken /by/ me or someone else.
