Thanks, its a nice time of the year for photography tbh. So many styles and genres to explore, all without even leaving the house!
 
NASA would be proud of that photo. Can you see where they landed in that?

If you mean "Did they land somewhere in that pic" yes they did, often. We only ever see one side of the moon and if you aim a laser at the right area you can bounce it off of a mirror that was left there by the Apollo crews which means they must have been somewhere in that pic.

Apollo 11 touched down almost smack bang in the middle of that photo.

No, I didn't mean that because I knew they landed on that side of the moon. I don't think they ever landed on the dark side on the moon.

I was just wondering if he zoomed in at 100% if he could see the flag and the left over moon landing equipment....I am half kidding and half curious. :D

Ahh fair enough.

And I do not believe anyone has ever landed anything on the far side. It's also mostly a crater covered mess compared to the near side which does at least have a few flat bits.
