I always see that saying crop up, "people like you", it's said so often on here.
Using that terminology to someone nonwhite, seems awfully racist. Can't say I'm surprised though
What I find perplexing about the whole racism, immigration etc thing, is how utterly pointless and how much of a waste of time it is.
In the grand scheme of the universe earth is nothing, humans even less so. Why do we spend so much time arguing about the colour of someone's skin, or telling people they aren't allowed to cross an arbitrary invisible human construct of borders and live where they want to? I mean if you go back far enough we all came from pretty much the same place anyway.
We're on borrowed time as it is; be that from some pandemic, someone nuking the planet, climate change, or the fact the sun is eventually going to burn up - wouldn't we be better to you know, work together as humans?
I'm not suggesting we get rid of all countries and borders, and I'm sure McstylisT will tell me it's some weird lefty view but, really, is it really all worth it?

Most of the resentment about open border immigration is based on the fact that when you only have a finite number of jobs out of control immigration only serves to drive down wages and/or leaves people unemployed, it might benefit the 1% but certainly not the average person. Brexiteers are accused of being racist when in actual fact all they want is control over immigration that benefits the working class, not the corporations and businesses who love having a surplus of workers to drive down wages and working conditions. It's only made into a race issue by those who want to stifle any debate on the economic impact on working class families up and down the country. It's why most remainers are upper class and brainwashed students as they haven't felt the economic impact first hand and it's easier for them to accept that most of their countrymen are racist than admit the problems the EU and its free movement has caused.

The migrants do jobs that the natives don't want to do, we had to resort to flying people in to pick fruit to avoid a food shortage/food going to waste because it couldn't be picked in time.

Also, like another poster has mentioned, as soon as the police started telling people to report a hate crime you had a flood of absolute nonsense get reported.
It basically gives every demographic the ability to perceive hate where there is none and report it to the police.

But then you go from grand scheme to humanitarian. That is a “moral” concept of ideology not grand scheme facts. A strange comparison.
The point is why we do live these lives we want the best for the ones we love and where we live. From any observation I can’t say the idea of multiculturalism has worked at all. It clearly doesn’t. We are just very different in our ways. To the extent where it’s becoming a woke I’m offended society before our very eyes. So your described view of a modern world isn’t one I would like for my children’s futures or even live in. Personally speaking and I’ll do all I can to stop that becoming reality. I can’t see or read anyone being “openly racist” in this forum. It just isn’t present. But the misuse of the word being band around is present. Because the word has been “labelled” in a left ideological opinion, doesn’t necessarily mean it actually has.
Most of this muck that has come out in the OST year has done nothing, but enhance hate, create more divide and oppress white people for being white and having ancestors that had slaves. No sorry, I’m not apologetic for any of that. It’s utter liberal garbage.

They are payed the bare minimum wage and the gang masters expect them to work like absolute dogs and meet a minimum speed.
They flat out won't employ British workers - plenty of people applied when they had that stupid "pick for Britain" campaign, and most Brits that applied never even had a reply.
"Brits are lazy"; "Brits won't work in the fields" - it's all rubbish.
It's a question of paying the bare minimum and getting labourers that work like machines for 12 hours a day and will put up with whatever treatment the gang master dishes out. Hence they import Romanian (etc) workers.
You shouldn't celebrate that - they treat these workers like dogs purely to keep food costs down.

I do honestly beielve though that people on here who are actually racist dont think of themselves as racist. I mean I used to work with a lovely guy, he was the production manager and would hotly deny he was racist. Yet he threatened to disinherit his daughter when she started dating a Pakistani Doctor and said if they ever had kids he would never allow a half caste kid into his home. Yet he didnt see that as racist. He just saw it in simple terms that white people should mate with white people and the ****** should keep to themselves as well.
