The Radeon RX 5700 XT Owners Thread.

I've gone and ordered another PSU. I hope this fixes the monitor no signal nonsense, the system crashes and restarts. My bronze rated PSU which has worked great for two years is probably the cause. I'm shocked really. So there goes another hundred quid. Should have got the 2070 Super grrr

Looking to get a 5700XT for an eGPU and need help choosing between these 2.

1. Sapphire Radeon RX 5700 XT Nitro+ 8GB GDDR6 PCI-Express Graphics Card
2. PowerColor Radeon RX 5700 XT Red Devil 8GB GDDR6 PCI-Express Graphics Card

I'd say the most important thing for me is quiet operating and solid warranty.

Buy the cheapest one. The RD have the better pcb components but makes no difference to the cards performance.

Both are equally good. However, the Nitro does come with Sapphire Trixx (for Trixx Boost w/RIS). And it's comes with nice RGB that you can control without trixx running in background (set it and close trixx). I thought Trixx Boost would work on any Navi card but I'm told that it does not. So, between the 2 I say get the Nitro for Trixx boost. And I actually enjoy the RGB.

If none of that is a deal break you should also consider Gigabyte Gaming 5700 XT as well (if it's cheaper).

I’d go for the sapphire. Not many weeks ago I sent a webnote and found that Powercolor have changed the warranty deal with ocuk, I don’t know how much they changed I didt go that deep but cooler removal is now warranty void. My take is if they have changed one bit what else have they changed.

So I finally joined the club.
Stock pictures don’t show the true size, I had to remove a radiator, reposition the res and remove a hardline.

Not another fail I forgot my username

I bought a 5700xt rog strix card, does anyone know any fixes for the many bsods that occur?

I also cant play any game longer than 15 minutes without a crash to desktop.

Gputweak 2 doesnt give any readings, neither does wattman.

Ive read many many people with these issues. The general consesus is wait it out for new drivers. But how long is the problem going to take to fix.

Have you tried without using GPU Tweak2? Uninstall it?

I've read reports that some of those cards may not be screwed in tightly as the screws are too long...

Check that out.

ASUS are releasing a new bios for the card. Try only have wattman installed, reduce voltage and power limit. Also make sure your ram is totally stable. Run it at base speed and see if games crash.
