XFX RX6800 Speedster QUIK 319. Basically identical to the 6800xt model but without the fancy nameplate.

1 card policy is depends on each shop, but 2 cards should be fine and always bring a friend just in case if they have limit

what I read from forum in hk, most cards are oos. Only cards instock now are amd 550/nv 6xx/7xx with over msrp price or have to buy with pre built pc.

You can go to price.com.hk or centralfield shop website to look at prices but do remember the price you pay is the one quote by sales on phone or at store, also don't expect to be cheap if they have stock because I saw a post said he got a quote, hkd 6xxx+ (around £600) for 6700xt with no due date.

Not really a choice - it was the only one available.

Just noticed a few people mentioning watercooling their 6800's a few posts back?

What sort of temperatures are people getting to warrant it? Mine barely cracks 60c on the core even with the voltage set as high as it'll go in Wattman at 2400MHz, most games see it sitting in the 50's.

You got the sapphire? To me its so much quieter and cooler than my 7... I didnt think the 7 was that bad but this bad boy is basically silent.

My Sapphire Nitro+ 6800XT does run in the mid 70s when gaming but it is crammed into a Cooler Master NR200. Can still barely hear it.

Yep, mine is a Sapphire.

I suppose noise is a factor but in the desktop the fan stops spinning & in games I tend to have the sound cranked up so can't hear the hum of fans anyway.

It appears to me that the sapphire is one of the best in terms of acoustics and cooling so perhaps there isn't much need to put it under water unless you want to push it super hard.

Mines not hit the 40's yet , even after an hour or so of gaming. Though tbh I've not done a great deal of gaming as have been bloody working all the time.

I have a couple of FE 3090s but have not managed to get my hands on the 6900 XT I am after.

What sort of temperatures are people getting to warrant it? Mine barely cracks 60c on the core even with the voltage set as high as it'll go in Wattman at 2400MHz, most games see it sitting in the 50's.

Can't speak for the 6800, but my Ref. Model 6800XT under an EK-Quantum Velocity block hits around 54-55 degrees on a Timespy Extreme stress test after an hour. This is with an OC of 2700Mhz on the core clock and a 9900k in the loop OC'd to 5.1Ghz with 720mm's of Radiators.
