New upgrade arrived this afternoon, Powercolor Red Devil 6800xt to replace my Red devil 5700xt. Thanks to Gibbo and the warehouse staff for the work over the festive period getting stuff shipped.

The minimum recommended is 850W+. It's possible you could get away with a little lower, however I experienced random restarts when I used a 650W Platinum Seasonic with a 6900 XT - if I increased the power limit above 0%.Will a seasonic Focus+ Gold 650w be OK for a 6900XT ?

Did you mean to ask that question in the 6800 XT owners thread? Thanks
What about the 6800XT ?
I know, that's why I was wondering why you asked about the 6900 XT.Thanks
This is the 6800 XT owners thread?
Might have to upgrade my PSU then
Well 750W is the minimum recommended. If you want some headroom for a future faster/more power hungry GPU, I'd go 1000W gold/platinum.1kw?
@Techen Did but his was faulty. I used his for a short while for testing and all I can say is the cooler was good and very quiet indeed.Who here owns a 6800XT Sapphire Pulse?
How is it? Build Quality, noise, temps....

I've got the 6800 non-XT Pulse which I imagine has the same cooler and such. It's solidly built and keeps things cool but you will hear it over about 40/45% fan speed (though it has to be pushing over 80°C to make the fan ramp that hard).Who here owns a 6800XT Sapphire Pulse?

I've had the card two years now, it hasn't skipped a beat!
Sorry, I was talking about hot spot temps, not edge temps. The highest edge temp I've seen with an OC is in the low 70's and the fans are audible but not egregious. When running stock, I've never heard the card fans over my case fans. Thanks guys.
Does it ever go to 80c? the None XT is a 230 watt card, the same as my 2070 Super.

MSI RTX 2070 SUPER Gaming X Specs
NVIDIA TU104, 1800 MHz, 2560 Cores, 160 TMUs, 64 ROPs, 8192 MB GDDR6, 1750 MHz, 256 bitwww.techpowerup.com
As you can see the cooler is quite large, but i don't imagine its any larger than the one on the Pulse. it averages 65 to 68c with the default fan curve, about 40% at those temps, its super quiet, with the headset off you can barley hear it at all, but those Frozr fans are dammed good.
It is my main concern, i'm used to and like a quiet PC, i have a 360mm RAD on my 5800X, those fans don't move from idle with the case fans also just ticking over.
I have had a few MSI Gaming X cards now, they have all been superb, but they are a stretch for me price wise so i'm looking for a more budget option, i know i might have to give up some of the niceties of the Gaming X range but am trying to minimise it as much as possible.
