MBA or Red Ddevil?

You should notice a massive increase in perf, biblical proportions. I hope you have a decent CPU. :)
It’s the MBA I believe, stock Radeon cooler , I’m mounting it vertical and don’t have a lot of clearance to the glass door on my case.
I did have a 5700xt but sold it on a while back but then missed out on getting a 6800xt on release and managed to pick up a 6900xt yesterday instead.
I’m using a 5900x cpu so should work well ?

Anyone know what this ARES keyboard in device manager is that arrived with the 6900XT?

Seems like ever since I installed my 6900XT my bluetooth keyboard has been playing up.

Could be coincidence but hmm..

Latest drivers BTW 20.12.2

Hi all my 6900xt is heating up to 80c at 90-80% utilisation is this normal? My 5600x is at 70.
Probably, but would need more information.

  1. What 6900 XT are you using? AIB or MBA?
  2. What temperature is hitting 80c, Edge or Junction?
  3. List every change you made, if any, under Radeon Software > GPU Tuning?
  4. What case are you using and what is your airflow configuration (intake vs exhaust)?
  5. What game/benchmark are you running?

6900 XT Red Devil Limited Edition

WOW, that system looks good! And I hope you enjoy it.
I have honestly never had the guts to water-cool any of my systems over the years.
Do you mind me asking, what configuration do you have, for the push-pull of the fans, on the two 360mm radiators?

I was hoping the latest drivers would help, with my monitor issues, but no joy yet.
On the plus side, Hitman3 performs better.

Lovely looking build. :)

Still amazed that you sold your 6900 XT then bought it back again when you already had a 3090!

To be honest, the 6900 XT is considerably cheaper (£1150 ) than the 3090 Xtreme (£1820) and to be honest in the games I play its faster too.

It runs around 2700MHZ no problem, it does get hot though.

GPU block awaiting delivery.

Nice. Would be good to see some Firestrike and Timespy benches from your system.
