What's the difference with the black edition?
It's just black?
Black Edition appears to have marginally higher clock speeds, as far as I can see there is no other difference.

I'm not sure why there is two models when the difference in clock speed is modest.

I'll let you know if there's any other significant difference once I've got my mitts on it.

I think LTmatt is searching for that golden chip. :D
Never hurts to buy another ticket. :D

To be fair I want a Merc with full warranty. When i purchased the one I have now it was 90 day warranty and no new ones were available so I didn't have much choice as i desperately wanted the Merc from the start.

Now i can move it on to someone else at cost and get a brand new one, happy days. :)

Haha that's an expensive lottery ticket, but hey good luck you might have found that golden sample :D

90 days warranty vs two years is worth it for me for an extra £270 when spending this sort of money.

Would you go for a 90 day warranty on your 3090 or 2/3 years warranty for an extra couple of hundred quid over the price?

I hope it is a golden sample but i expect it will be around the same performance. Fingers crossed though! :D

Is there a way to force the radeon software to a specific profile? Last night while playing Division 2, the software cacked itself and didn't load (like back in windows 98 days where you get loads of cascaded windows when it crashes). Had to close from task manager and boot it back up. However, the profile had reverted back to the default AMD profile and not the one I was using.

Go for the warranty for sure, although i most likely kill my warranty with water cooling.

Ah that's true mate, surely if you put it back together carefully they'll never know. Unless its got the warranty stickers i guess.

My Merc has them.

It will restore default settings if you get a crash of any type in case it is related to the GPU Tuning. Same if you push the restart button your PC.

However, if you setup application profiles and load your profile in there for Division 2, then it should reload it when you launch the game.

This way you can leave the global tuning at default settings.

Yeah, I actually did think of that in bed last night lol. I guess that's the easiest solution for me, thanks. Will create the game based profiles once home from work.

The crash wasn't the tuning, it was just the cack software from Radeon lol.

If it happens on the global one, you'll have to redo it by hand. But you can export it and load it from file :)

Can some one with a freesync monitor /TV do a sanity check for me?
In the Radeon Software, in the settings >display section. Does it have freesync and the toggle to on. Or is it replaced with adaptive sync?
The first top left option

Adaptive Sync, when using a Lg C9 OLED.
