The Radeon RX 6900/6950 XT Owners Thread.

Perhaps, it does not really matter though it’s just a rough indication of power use as reported by software.
Doesn't mean that rest 50W isn't there to heat up room.

Vega 64 had major power draw drop from Power save profile with quite small performance loss and was looking for that level power draw.

That should be around 200W for GPU+memory.

This is so far only one with some kind list, though 6800 XT chips are propably lower quality than in 6900 XT.

Beat this :D

Yep Big Navi is very efficient especially with how much you can under volt.
Well, nowadays most people mix overclocking and overvolting.
But then again makers seem to do that also cranking everything up to eleven and causing major drop on power efficiency.
Remember the time when top cards had max ~200W power draw with only occasional dual GPU on single PCB/literal dual card "sandwhich" exceeding that.

Now if there would be availability.
And with most cards being huge and heavy would also like limit on that.
Reference would be quite compact, though weight is at mid level.
From custom cards Gigabyte Gaming OC would be good amount lighter and also quite nice sized and actually work with Lian Li's expansion card cooler.
Sapphire Nitro would be also nice light compared to reference and mid sized.

Just had it confirmed that 6900XT has been shipped with the majority of my order - just ever so slightly gutted it wont be delivered by the weekend.

At least I will have a few things to play with next week hopefully :)

I feel your pain. I hate having to wait for something once I've decided I'm having it. If I was in your shoes, I'd reduce some of the pain be reading and watching every review of the card I can find whilst you wait for the card to arrive. That works a bit for me anyway...

DPD do sometimes deliver on a weekend so you might yet be in luck. Had them arrive on Sunday before.

Nice. Why is the actual voltage in game when monitored via an overlay?
What 6900 XT are you using?
It warms the cockles of my heart when I see everyone using 2112Mhz on the memory clock.
I must admit you made me doubt myself enough to start using 2100 instead of 2150 now

I am using the sapphire reference model. What speed of VRAM do you recommend then?. Also I did not understand your first question
Your memory speed is perfect. Ignore the first question it’s not that important.
Yes, I've conformed to 2112 now too. I resisted at first but ultimately, it proved to be futile! :D
Good man. :D
