Of course, 2 years for a card costing near 2.5 grand. Lunacy.
Well tbf it's only supposed to cost just over 1k and will probably be going used for 500 quid once the RDNA 3 cards are released early next year.
Is anyone getting black screen with no signal on brand new card 6800xt card ?
It has hdmi 2.0 cable plugged in , however is shows a black screen. I've tried everything but can't get it to show a picture.
The motherboard bios does come up and I can go into the bios, but after that, it's a black screen?

You could ask there yes but probably won't make much difference. It sounds like it might be dead, contact OCUK customer services ASAP.

Aha! That must be how the anti-sag bracket that came with my Phanteks case works then! I couldn't understand for the life of me why the vague instructions looked like it was telling me to install it next to where I tighten the screws at the back of the case! I was thinking; the sag is at the other end of the card, what use is it going to do installing a bracket at the opposite end!
Yeah the instructions for my anti sag bracket on the P600s was dog poo. I figured it out thanks to a YouTube video in the end though.

How effective is it? The sag on my devil was considerable, I wonder is it equal to the task of using an actual bracket under the 'saggy' end as I have just now...
It did a good job, though I suspect the bracket you speak of would do better.
My card is an AMD card that's giving the problem. Resizable bar is an Nvidia feature?

You could try checking in the bios if your PCIe is set to gen 4. It may still be on gen 3 or auto. Worth a shot.The 6800xt thread is dead.
It's weird to see everyone here swore by AMD now I've gone and bought one. It is showing black screen and your pointing me to 6800xt thread where no one responds. The 3080 does not do any if this.
I Thought the setting still needed to be enabled in the bios for SAM though?
I know Nvidia cards don’t boot to windows when its enabled and windows is not set to UEFI so though it maybe something similar.
My board is a PCIE 3.0 x16 and I can't see any setting to change that
I've got it to boot, 2 times out of 20 attempts, it wants to boot up when it wants. I'm gutted about this.
The mobo is on stock settings, I'm not even wanting
To use SAM, just want to boot into Windows . I already used driver cleaner.
I changed BIOS to Legacy mode from UEFI mode and it posted but took quite a long time. It is like I don't even have a SSD. T AMD he card has crippled my system. With black screens and when it boots 1 out of every 10 times it is very slow to post.
