I rather like the hot and cold zoning of your accidental colour scheme!

Okay had another rush of blood to the head and went for a 6900xt which is the card I originally wanted months ago to complete my AMD setup.
Had a slight panic attack today when I realised it was too long for my current case config so had to put my AIO radiator in the roof and check my
box of bits for what other fans I had. Just my luck the Corsair one I found was blue and not red. So here are a few pics and I need to look for some
fans for the front. Supplied sag stand was too large so once again went for the trusted lego stand.

Nice. What GPU were you using before?Okay had another rush of blood to the head and went for a 6900xt which is the card I originally wanted months ago to complete my AMD setup.

Did you get the XTX or the XTXH version? If you have 1.2v available in Radeon Software it's the latter.
Curious to know what temperatures you get on Edge and Junction under heavy load with power limit at +15%.
I'd think 11k should be easy with that card if you want to go for a number!?The Ultimate is the XTXH version - I get 1.2v / 350W power-limit @ +15%
Not sure how representative my temps are but I just did a Port Royal run - idle junction temp was 31C, ran at 71-86C max - 9988 points, 10K must be doable!

This is my best with a Sapphire MBA on water,

Hit a brick wall at 2780mhz set max. Looking like about as far as I'll be getting currently. Not too bad at 49th on the board though. A different motherboard to get the physics score up would help too.
Ye, it's a pain as for the world rankings it's the combined scores that count. So having a 5950x kranked up to 11 really helps. My motherboard has a 200w limit so would be fine for a 5800x, but you need 250w+ to get the most out of a 12 or 16 core part.Great numbers IMO! I've got to about 15,350 on GFX but my physics is stuck at 15.5K - I reckon due to 3 year old laptop CPU + perhaps narrow link to GPU.
Cheers. Is that 71c edge, 86c junction?The Ultimate is the XTXH version - I get 1.2v / 350W power-limit @ +15%

It's a good score, looks like you reached the limit of your silicone to go further, would need the 1.2v.@LtMatt

Ye, tried doing 1200mv in MPT before? The driver has a fit lol.Cheers. Is that 71c edge, 86c junction?

Looking good.
I like the spirit level touch, a good early warning system of card sag syndrome.

Yeah I know it doesn't work so not even tried. I only wish i could have the extra voltage through my Merc as it would love it.Ye, tried doing 1200mv in MPT before? The driver has a fit lol.
Been on water would give you a little bit extra too. I get very little extra from 100w extra.Yeah I know it doesn't work so not even tried. I only wish i could have the extra voltage through my Merc as it would love it.
Yeah it's really not worth it for day to day, only for maxing out that benchmark score.Been on water would give you a little bit extra too. I get very little extra from 100w extra.

No, I'm just running 293w and 2122MHz vram now for daily. It's at 2.5GHz in game with the power been saved on water so manual tweaking for daily is totally pointless for me.Yeah it's really not worth it for day to day, only for maxing out that benchmark score.
However, you are on water so on air the difference might be a bit larger but still not worth it.
