The Radeon RX 7600 Review Thread

3yrs for AiB models and 2yrs for MBA ones btw (Powercolor only 1yr for MBA now, shocking!).
I wonder if in both cases its down to AMDs limited production of the MBA models. I'd always heard that they do like a first run, but stop production pretty soon after. I could see aib partners not wanting to lump themselves into long warranty on parts they can't get replacements for.

Just speculation here

I'd pay a little more for something that has a good warranty and good customer service, that used to be EVGA's thing, cost a bit more, but excellent customer service. And look at the mindshare they gained.

When i see short warranties like this my first though is they don't have a lot of confidence in their own product, my second though is i don't want to be without the security of that warranty.
PC have 3yrs on their custom models though so that's something. Just their MBA warranty is really short.

Yes, i do feel like if you bought direct from Nvidia, AMD, Intel.... they would just replace the product if after a year + it broke, for them that is perhaps the compromise with the 2 year instead of 3 year warranty.

Yet their sales performance in the UK was never particular strong, warranty is important and something we always push for, hence a couple of years ago (maybe longer) I got Sapphire to increase their AIB warranty from 2yr to 3yr. It is not a lack of confidence in their product it is just Asian market mentality and the whole warranty thing in Asia is not as important as it is to US/UK customers. Still saying this even back then with Sapphire limited warranty they were still generally number one sales wise in UK/Europe, but at least they did listen to input and went to three years.

If the retailer offered a premium warranty and customers service that was worth its salt for a one time fee on purchase i would seriously consider that too.
