The Radeon RX 7900 XT(X) Owners Thread.

Are these 4k gaming cards?
I have a nitro 7900xtx and I'm thinking about getting a OLED 4k monitor.
I won't touch Ray tracing and it would be great that it's 60fps as a minimum.
a lot of my games are not too demanding like baldurs gate 3 and a lot of playstation titles that they released onto pc like god of war.

Have I messed up and bought a Nvidia 4080?

Yeah smashes through a bunch of games at 4K especially without Ray Tracing.

Was messing about with msi afterburner the other day and noticed my RAM temp was showing 75c is this the same as you guys. GPU temp was 60c

Picked up the 7900 xtx speedster merc 310 after some looking around and it seems it's not the best but not the worst, got it for £750ish. Pairing it with a 9800x3d whenever that turns up.

Is this 7900 worth it or did I make a mistake?

This is the owners thread so we are slightly biased. At that price it’s a cracking deal. Enjoy the card for a week or two and after you can do some under volting.

Had mine coming up to a year now, can't fault it at all to be honest. I do have it under custom water so can't really comment much on the stock cooler though. But it performs really well.

Just to make it last longer at the same speed I guess?

I paid 1200 quid for mine and i don’t regret it one bit. £750 is a bargain.
Yeah I did a little look into it and it seemed like it was too good to be true but feel like I got a good deal just wanted to make sure

Nice I won't be watering it but I'll be on 1440 so shouldn't need to

AMD tend to over juice their cards so they run hotter than they need to. With a couple of clicks you can under volt your card so it performs the same if not better while using less volts and running cooler.

Ahh, cheers, found it. Am I being thick or does it not keep the settings? It seems to revert back constantly. Cheers.
I’ve found that windows fast boot. Tends to reset the performance settings which is a pain. To get round this you can either disable disable windows fast boot. Create a custom profile and save it. Then reapply when needed. Or just create use a game profile which will auto apply every time you play.
