What are the thoughts on the Nitro+ 9070 at £629 Vs the £649 9070XT's (base models)?
thats what i just got, should be here tomorrow. from the info i have seen the card will OC like a monster at can match base speed of the XT model.

That's interesting as I was only intending on running an XT at stock to keep things cooler and quieter.thats what i just got, should be here tomorrow. from the info i have seen the card will OC like a monster at can match base speed of the XT model.
im happy to show bench marks tomorrow. but ive seen a few in this thread that back up the Nitro+ is a bit of a good overclocked seen to be doing will over 3ghz in gamesThat's interesting as I was only intending on running an XT at stock to keep things cooler and quieter.
I've posted a few benchmarks in here of the Nitro+ XT and i've gained around 15% on stock, i matched my heavily overclocked 7900 XTX, which is impressive. It's a really good overclocker and a cool and quiet card too.im happy to show bench marks tomorrow. but ive seen a few in this thread that back up the Nitro+ is a bit of a good overclocked seen to be doing will over 3ghz in games
the heatsink on the Nitro+ dose look to be one of the bigger ones too, so should help with noise
The XT Nitro also OCs like a monster. I've gained 15% over stock settings. The Nitros are very impressive cards!thats what i just got, should be here tomorrow. from the info i have seen the card will OC like a monster at can match base speed of the XT model.

Good spot, that was a typo. I own a Red Devil XTX, I missed the last X off like a tool.the XT should be just under the XTX sort of speeds out of the box from what i have seen online
Warhammer 40K: Darktide - one of the best implementations I've seen, it really adds to the grungy atmosphere.Trying to update all my games that support RT to give a whirl. The RX 6800 XT always felt like a bit of a tease for what could be with RT. Despite being double the RT performance of a PS5, PC games never seem to be as well optimised, the lowest RT settings often are still higher than the consoles get.
So far on my list I've got:
Cyberpunk 2077
Witcher 3
GTA V Enhanced
Hogwarts Legacy
Control
Watch Dogs Legion
Any I have missed that have got a nice implementation to try?
yeah.nv5..I got a 9800x3d with my 9070xt, so he'll get my 7800x3d..Be easier just to pack up my pc and give it to him except planes involved which feels like a lot of effort and hasslei have to be honest, watching part build up would have killed me as a 16yo, you got the NV5 right? the 4070s will look amazing in that case the with bracket you got from me.
its a good chunky card so you may want to thing about an AIO as most air coolers will block it... so sorry dad but now i need a nice LCD AIO...
I'd stick to the high end benchmarks in 3D Mark; Steal Nomad, Time Spy Extreme and Port Royal. Your CPU will still have an impact, but it's much smaller when the framerate's low as it is with the tougher tests. I doubt you'll see enough results elsewhere for a meaningful comparison.Hello everyone! I managed to get a 9070 XT that will arrive in the coming days.
My current CPU (i7 8700k) will most likely bottleneck the GPU and I plan to upgrade it soon, but not as soon as the GPU return window.
Are there any benchmarks or tests that I can run that will allow me to check that everything is ok with the GPU and that it performs as expected with a CPU that will bottleneck it in games?
I tried looking around and found Unigine Superposition which seems heavily focused only on GPU (ran on my current setup, and it used at most 16% CPU), but I could only find one score for 9070 XTs in that benchmark.
7600x.I used to get around the same score on a 5600x but it performs way betterHi,
What CPU is used in this test ?

Case is a Montech King 95, and generally has pretty great thermal performance, and my room today was so cold that my partner was shivering (left the window open) and still, the Aorus is trucking away at a toasty 65 degree core, 90+ hotspot, even at less than 300w. I know that's not bad temps per say, but comparatively it seems awful.Yeah that's the card I got never seen it above 60 with a 50% max fan speed setting. Case cooling fine? Warm room? Undervolting should help reduce those temp.
I will 100% be returning it tho, as you say its a super duper model, but man the RGB lights are underwhelming, and the rgb rings under the fans are very unpleasant to look at, plus its black in my full white build. Just going to use it for a month and hope my 5090 Aorus master Ice turns up!
