Bit on the fence at the moment. Probably a 2080ti but... I'm rather tempted with waiting for a waterblock on one of these for a little more "fun"

Alphacool Eisblock GPX-A Plexi Light AMD Radeon VII - mit Backplate is on Delivery: in 2 - 3 weeks.
Still no sign of a listing on EK's offering yet though.

I read on a different forum that it took 3 days to go from China to Texas so you may not have to wait very long at all.

I thought this was only a subset of features? Mainly because of the massive fan base of WoW players still on Windows 7.

Personally I gave up on Win7 a while back, Win10 is definitely nicer now.

Ye, Windows 7 in 2019 for me is a bad idea. I posted this more for a member that runs 7 with a radeon vii. Can't remember who is was though without looking pages and pages back lol.

An update on Ek's Water Block for everyone. And its not good news!

My message this morning:

Spoke via email a few weeks ago now. I've been a big part of the Overclockers UK Radeon VII owners forum, with lots of talk about getting the most out of the cards. Can you provide any further updates that I can share with many of the members considering the water cooled option for there cards.
Unfortunately two members had already made purchases from rival companies "BYKSKI and Alphacool" so time is of the essence at this point.

Anyone looking at the Alphacool block, here's a link to the install manual. I like the fact thermal pads are used under the back plate. Might help save the 5C "vapor matt" found with the stock plate removed?

It's as must about getting the HBM temp down as well as the core. The vrm isn't an issue for cooling.
