We shall not bother applying to spl.

We are going to apply to the 3rd div.

And when sky pull the plug on scottish football, and with no massive rangers away support, the rest of the teams in the spl will suffer, badly.

You'll need support of the SFL to get into the 3rd division and then the SFA membership once you've got a competition to play in. Not going to happen until Rangers accept whatever punishment is handed out after going to court.

Bitter, twisted, little men.

But enough about Celtic. The only thing to change will be the parent company number. A bit like Celtic who have two company numbers. One for team and one for the stadium. Maybe all the trophies and history from games at your ground should go also as its in the hands of a Newco.

Leeds, Middlesbrough, Charlton, Fiorentina to name but a few who are all Newco teams and still all have their history so away and talk your nonsense on one of your like minded forums.

Sorry, was i lying?

Don't know but then I wouldn't trust anything that the Daily Record prints about Celtic or it's employees. This is the rag that had a hearse photographed in front of Celtic Park when we had some financial problems (although that is completely dwarfed by Ranger's plight) and we have yet to see a cracked Rangers crest appear on their pages while they are only to happy to show a cracked Celtic crest at every opportunity.

Prove what you have quoted or stop soiling the name of Scotland's greatest ever manager.

More Green guff.

An employee can refuse to TUPE to a new company.

Lets hope the majority of the players do sign a new deal with the new co.
But once we are out of administration and emerge as a new co, wont we be able to buy new players?

As for what happens next, I am convinced that we will be playing in The Premier League next season. The "fans" of the other clubs may be baying for our blood, but the owners are not stupid and when it comes to the crunch, their heads will rule their hearts.
But i would rather go down to the 3rd div and work our way up.

He's already made it clear that he will need to make massive wage savings in the playing staff. TUPE would require that the existing contracts are maintained.

Will players want to sign for a club that could be kicked out of the league?

What footballer in their right mind is going to sign a new deal with a team they don't even know where they will be playing next season?

I know you are the people etc etc, but do you really expect McGregor, who only has maybe 6 good more years left in him, to spend 3 of those trying to get back into the SPL? Or do you think he'll be straight out to anywhere

Not only that, how are you going to pay 20k a week players from the 3rd division? You'll be lucky to get 20k through the gates by October, and as you like to keep telling the SPL they will lose TV money, you will have even less! Your sponsorship money will dwindle etc.
TBF, you really really don't want players to resign unless you are guaranteed to be back in the SPL. If not, you'll be back in admin in 12 months time.

Rangers will be able to sign players as a newco since the current punishments from administration won't apply, at least until any new punishments come through from the SPL voting.

Green has stated he'll be making cuts of £7m from the wage budget if a newco so the only way I see this happening is most of the current first team leaving. Others won't sign until they know what league the club will be in.

Sounds like Green is scrabbling around for as much pennies as he can get to raise the full £5.5million - some of it has already been paid, but not all of it.

Edit: And you couldn't make it up, Rangers oldco will have a vote in whether to allow Rangers newco into the SPL!!!!

If they want to transfer their share and their 'history' then the punishments will come too.

They need to take history and punishments together, or nothing. They can't claim to have 140 years of unsurpassed dignity, and then when they are told 'you have a 1 year transfer ban' say 'ooo wait hang on, we're no the same'
