Nope not at all. But the vast majority of fans were fine. What about the Brechin fans booing the national anthem disgusting also no?

And there I thought Sky were going to pull out of Scottish Football and it would be in ruins.

Havent you heard, Sevco 5088 is a company trying to claim 140 years of history of a now dead, defunct club whose last year ended in shame, embarrassment and ridicule.

Surprised you havent heard of them :)

Ah you mean The Rangers Football Club Ltd. ads registration remains the same so still the same club. Remember Celtic have had three companies and one of these newcos still owns the stadium.

didn't hear the scottish national anthem being sung at all? After all it was two scottish sides playing football on sunday ;)

Well I've been a Rangers fan since a pretty young age, and I feel it's my turn to say something.

Up untill now I feel that both Charles Green and Ally McCoist have conducted themselves in a acceptable manner during a pretty rough time at Ibrox.

However comments made recently have changed my stance on it, I actually feel that we are incredibly fortunate to play playing our football next season in the Scottish Football League - look at Gretna, we could have quite easily gone in that direction.

The Rangers/Celtic rivalry is fine, but there was no need for Neil Lennon to get involved - what was said was said, and that should be the end of it.

Only with hard work and plenty of thought can Rangers top the heights they have done in recent years, and I'm looking forward to the next season with real hope and expectation.

COME ON YOU GERS!

So it's ok to boo other anthems as long as it's not your own?

There is no Scottish national anthem anyway.

There is its called God Save The Queen.

I remember being embarrassed at a Scotland game vrs Northern Ireland and our fans boo'd it. I was ashamed to be Scottish that night.

No it's not.
There is no official national anthem for Scotland.
The Scottish parliament looked into it and decided that they have the legal right to choose one, but it's not a political priority so it has not been done yet.

Our national anthem is God Save the Queen. It is certainly not Flower of Scotland, under any circumstances. There is indeed no Scottish national anthem, but we are British and that is the British national anthem.

Reading further up the thread... would it be possible to lay off the sweeping insults? You may disagree with what club officials, football officials etc say. You may disagree with what some of the fans do or say - in fact we're all free to criticise.

However if you call all Rangers fans derogatory names then you're calling me the same thing and I don't like it.

One of the problems with Scottish football is people coming out with hateful nonsense generalising about fans of a particular club. The idea that Rangers fans are fundamentally different types of people to Celtic fans to minor league fans to Aberdeen fans etc is the reason why there's so much trouble around football. If you spread that then you're part of the problem.

If more Rangers fans took that attitude there would be a lot more sympathy for them.

Let's face facts here. If any other club outside of the OF had ended up in the situation Rangers found themselves in there would not be a hope in hell of them being in ANY division of senior football in Scotland.

Too many Rangers fans (and media apologists) have bleated on about how they "have been punished enough" and that the SFA are out to get them when they completely fail to realise that the SFA have actually done them a massive favour by agreeing to the license transfer.

I hope you're just trolling for a reaction, surely nobody thinks that way. :(

You'll catch onto Eddie quickly. Rangers threads are his

Whilst using it to blackmail them into accepting what has already been proved to be an illegal punishment and forcing them to pay costs. Costs that a Judge at the court or session ordered the SFA to pay. Right you are.
