I'l keep supporting my team no matter which league they're in, and you keep trying to have digs at my team instead of supporting your own.

This is what I've found appauling throughout the whole affair. People with nothing to do with the club spouting lies and allegations since the BBC show last October. I think calling a team cheats despite no proof is shameful what's worse is that some even called into question the 9 in a row despite the perfectly legal EBT scheme only starting after that. If we are then going to call into question a clubs titles because they are in debt then we should start looking south of the border.

If that's how some fans want to win trophies that were fought and won by playing superior football then shame on them.

Meanwhile I'm looking forward to our league cup game and the league game against Peterhead.

Possible conflict of interest for the lawyers appointed by the SPL to investigate Rangers' use of EBTs according to Rangers fans since the lawyers previously acted for Celtic.

Would've thought that the SPL would be able to get the appointment right after all the previous carry on about them running their league.

The SPL appoints Celtic's lawyers to investigate Rangers. Meanwhile Celtic have charged fans extra for Old Firm matches and won't refund them.

Let's hope the SPL is dead by the time we're back up there and there's a fair and positive organisation in it's place that's for the benefit of Scottish football rather than the mob of morons we have at present.

I'm going by the story in the Daily Record.

Right, well what you wrote isn't accurate though?

The people wan't a refund because Rangers no longer exist. When I bought my season books, I was perfectly aware that the full price tickets terms said the tickets would be for whoever replaced Rangers in the league (should Rangers not be in the league). These people would be the same so Celtic have not charged them any extra for Old Firm matches and should not be refunding them.

Oh for goodness sakes it's totally dishonest. Why on earth are you defending that?

Why would they pay 250% of the price just to get 2 games against Dundee? I can't believe you're defending that.

It's not dishonest. The terms were clearly stated to anyone buying at the time of purchase.

You seem to be getting muddled over a different issue, is it value for money? Possibly not but no-one has been mis-sold anything here.

Anyway this isn't a thread to discuss Celtic. I thought it would be easier to correct you than RTM.

What I said was quite correct and it was appropriate for the thread. Nobody paid the extra for those season tickets for Dundee matches they paid the extra for Old Firm matches.

That's not correct as I pointed out to you - this was an issue at the time of purchase and you could phone the ticket office or read the terms and conditions at the time which would tell you - in the event of Rangers not being in the league, the season ticket would be for the games against the replacement team. So people, including myself, did willingly pay the extra for games against Dundee.

It's correct. I've explained it already. I don't know if you're hard of thinking or if you're intentionally being obtuse.

Nobody paid the massive amount extra for any reason other than Old Firm games. Regardless of what it says in the small print.

I'd say I know a lot more Celtic fans than you and all the ones I know were fully aware of what they were buying :) they might moan about the price but they certainly were not mis-sold and the process was perfectly honest and transparent.

So you are wrong, plenty did pay for the tickets regardless of the opposition.

No you are wrong, they bought the tickets knowing they there was a chance that Rangers weren't in the league, it wasn't hidden a secret or not even mentioned, sure it seems unfair but hey thats life. I could understand your point if they turned up on the day and prices were treble for Dundee but they aren't, they knew what they were buying but hey don't let that change anything.

Exactly, I can't wait to get back into Ibrox tonight, hopefully it's absolutely packed.
