You can be sure the Daily Record and Scottish Sun's sports hounds will be tearing each other's throats to secure an "exclusive" book deal with all involved.

I bet they are sitting on quite a bit of info already.

Jardin is already on record saying that the last 5 years have been difficult but wouldn't expand on it but added by saying it will eventually come out.

To be honest even if it did mean liquidation you can be sure that the bidding war for the assets would be intense for the stadium and car park (they could drop the training ground if they were really cheap...) and the chance to sell season tickets to 35K Rangers fans. Therefore no matter what happens there will be a Rangers at Ibrox playing in the SPL on August 4th.

I heard that too. Berwick Rangers are to bid for Rangers SPL share ;)

According to D&P, there are written guarantees that Whyte will transfer his shares for £1. But sure D&P have made quotes in the past that the following day are proved to be false.

Only time will tell....

I think that an administrator accepting a bid in the region of £11million for the club will be breaking the law. They are legally obliged to act in the interests of the creditors and surely liquidation would raise much more than £11million.
It looks increasingly like this will be the case when it comes to the CVA, the main creditors know that the sale of Ibrox will be worth more than any bid to buy the club so they will block it and go down the fire sale route, even if it means Ibrox being sold to Tesco or Barretts to be made into a supermarket or flats.

Edit:
UEFA have apparently confirmed that even if Oldco survives via a CVA, they will be banned from European football for 3 years.

The day Rangers couldn't file their accounts with UEFA was the day old or new Rangers were not going to play in Europe for 3 years. That's the rules for participating in Europe and I can't see any reason for it to change (a new club would have to provide 3 years worth of accounts and the old club will have to do the exact same).

If no one stumps the cash I can only see the creditors moving to liquidate, as Ibrox will be worth quite a bit to housing developers/Tesco (despite being party a listed building), which can be the only way to balance what is owed.

it won't happen even if the club gets liquidated someone will buy and ressurect the club! I'd bet my house on it...
tesco wouldn't touch it if it still wants to continue to trade in glasgow!

LOL just LOL

Have you seen how much real estate sells for in that area?

Looks the Blue Knights are in face saving mode now, demanding their offer be accepted by noon today, probably safe in the knowledge it won't and shifting all the blame on Duff & Duffer when the club is liquidated.

So much **** coming out of the D&P mob it's unbeivable.

And noon's come and gone.

The report into the panel the other week is interesting, and proves what I have been saying, Jardine and co lying about how harshly they were punished, they got off pretty lightly!

The panel considered terminating the clubs membership of the SFA, like that was ever going to happen. ;)

If the BK offer was the same as was on offer last time, it has no chance. D&P came out and said it wasnt near acceptable, so nothing has changed to make it so.

And the initial findings seem to suggest Rangers got off likely. I still think the appeal will result in a reduction of the transfer ban to 6mths, effectively ruling out player purchase during the summer, IF Rangers are still around and out of administration.

Moved to 4.

At least the nutters who claim its big bad Whyte who did it all can go away now.

"And that is why those who say – and there are many of them – that the club cannot and should not be held responsible for Craig Whyte’s actions, are laid bare in all this for what they are – cowards who refuse to face the facts, the truth and the hard reality that Rangers went catastrophically wrong and that is Rangers’ responsibility and nobody else’s – chairmen and directors."
