Heh, in fairness to Murray, Whyte didn't just collapse the house of cards, be poured petrol all over it, burned it down n left a huge great jobbie in the remains.

Yes Whyte was a law unto himself but whose fault was it he was there in the first place?

If you buy a house, fail to pay council tax and fail in the general upkeep of the maintenance, is it somehow the fault of the person you bought the house from?

David Murray is to blame for a number of things, not least the financial dereliction of duty on at least 2 occasions throughout his tenure. But apart from carrying out a thorough due diligence of the man buying the club, I am not sure how he can be blamed for the activities of his successor.

At the same token, no matter how much sense people talk, Rangers fans dont want to hear it.

If you consider yourself as one of the people talking sense, you give yourself too much credit.

Your claim that a property developer would build and sell flats on the old ibrox ground and/or auchenhowie and make £30 million profit still gives me a laugh.

Even on the rare occasion when you make a valid point, it is ruined when i think of that nonsense you tried to feed us. :D

I`ve always found that "talking sense" is best left to people without an agenda.

See, your putting words in my mouth, I never once said a property developer would do that and make 30m profit.

I look forward to the grovelling apologies when the CVA fails.

Scroll back Mark.

I literally do have all night (Schindler's list is on but it`s boring me now :D )

You claimed the liquidators would get 30m, i asked from whom and you reckon someone could build flats on it (pmsl) :D

Mark, if it acually happens i will employ you to work for me and give you a balnk cheque book for your salary :D

No, I never.

I suggested Murray Park and Ibrox could fetch 30 million, and stated various things that they could be used for such as a training facility for excellence which the SFA are looking to create at huge expense already.

Does anyone know what the value of Rangers' assets would be if they didn't go for the other offer from Green to purchase them outside of a CVA? I would think that Ibrox etc would be worth a lot more than £5.5m or whatever the offer is?

The "newco" plan from Bill Miller is being done all the time in the business world so that's why I expect this to be the end result out of all this, especially given the inept rules from the SPL/SFA. :)

I think you would have to look realistically at what a grade 2 listed football stadium is worth to anything other than a sporting organisation.

Even if there was still a booming property market, there is more derelict waste ground about govan to build a thousand houses.

Mark, that guy on here who talks more about Rangers than the rest of us put together, reckons we Rangers fans will buy flats on the pitch area etc like what happened at Highbury in North London during the boom years. :D

You would have to find many different levels of stupid people to come together to allow that to happen.

Firstly you`d have to find a daft property developer who would pay for it to be sympathetically demolished, supported, pinned and stabilised. Why go to this bother and expense when there are acres and acres of prepared waste ground all around it ripe for building on and a damn site cheaper that the 10`s of millions suggested. It really is laughable.

Youre suggesting the SFA might pay £30m for both?

Who will they buy it from?

Again, not what I said at all, but crack on with the embellishment as you normally do.

The only thing Ive said that I was incorrect on was the transfer window date, everything else has been bang on. :)

Really?

Are you forgetting your ludicrous assertion that the offer to creditors was worth less than a penny in the £, despite having the details of the offer showing that a worst case scenario would result in just under 4p in the £. Were you bang on with that?

Were you bang on with your ridiculous declaration that St.Mirren would receive more money if Rangers were replaced in the SPL by Morton?

As has been pointed out, there are occasions (rare) where you do make a valid point. But these are spoiled when you make claims such as the above!

Mark, that is exactly what you said and implied.

You seemed to think that the liquidators could sell the assets to a property developer who would then build flats or houses and sell them to "loyal fans" etc.

I can understand how you find it hard to beleive.....and beleive me, so did we....but it`s actually what you said.

Now about this SFA training school thing.....who will they buy it from?

Steve, your doing the same as McRod, I said St Mirren would get more money against Morton from games, which is a fact as we get higher crowds against Morton than we do against Rangers.

You will have see on the penny in the pound CVA if its accepted.

I said its an option, I never stated that it was a fact that it could, I was offering various suggestions, including the football academy, how can you say its not when they are on the books at over 100m?

Lets not forget that St Mirren would be financially better off if Rangers were out of the league and Morton were in it. :D

i`ve yet to see any attendance stats to back that up......not that i`m really expecting to. :D

Renfrewshire cup final last year at St Mirren park had the same attendance as Rangers on xmas eve. That was a meaningless friendly.
