The Razer Phone

Probably won't be any different to existing flagships with smaller batteries. The size of its battery is offset against drawing the display at 120Hz.

It doesn't have a nice looking design, doesn't have water resistance, doesn't have wireless charging, and no mention of an SD slot. The camera specs appear to be average as well in a world of f/1.6 main lenses, and a super wide angle lens is more useful than a 2x zoom.

Apart from games, it will just make the entire phone experience feel smoother. The iPad Pro has a 120Hz screen too and you can see the difference.

However, what I would have prefer to see was some sort of adaptive sync (like Freesync/Gsync) which may be better for the phone especially battery wise.

Must admit, I was wondering how they were going to effectively demonstrate that given most people will be watching on 60Hz displays :D

Seriously though the difference is certainly obvious and very much for the better in the flesh. I can't quite use that as an excuse to upgrade my 6 month old standard iPad to a Pro just for that though lol!

Apparently this was on their FB page, but has been removed.

TL: DW:

700 November release, snapdragon 835 SoC, 8GB of RAM, 64GB of storage, 4,000mAh battery, two stereo speakers each with its own amp (looks front facing), 120HZ IGZO LCD panel, two 12MP rear cameras (wide angle + telephoto)

YUM. Specs look pretty sound. I'm interested in that panel and the dual speakers mostly.
