The real Mo Farah (or not...)

Not sure he makes a good role model promoting fraud & identity theft even despite his circumstances, probably would have been better to keep quiet about it all, but I do wonder what his angle is for coming out now about it and what he expects to gain from it
Book deal?

My beef is I believe he is guilty of cheating by the illegal use of performance enhancing substances, and that he then turns out to be a plastic Englishman who has even managed to blag a knighthood despite being here illegally. My ire extends as much, if not more to our shambolic immigration services.
Are you referring to his use of L-carnitine? Perhaps I've missed something but I don't believe any action was taken over that as the drug is permissable and there was no proof he injected over the maximum allowable amount. He may well have done. But we don't know. So saying it was an illegal use is not correct. Or have I missed something? Happy to be corrected if I have.

He's never said he is an Englishman. He is, however a British citizen, at least by his marriage in 2010.

He did not blag a knighthood. He worked extremely hard to achieve success in his career and was rewarded for that hard work. At least he worked for that knighthood, unlike many people who are just handed one for knowing the right people.

I think you chaps just need to calm down a bit. Immigration policies, Rwanda asylum plans etc all playing out heavily in the media at the moment, he's taking the opportunity to tell his story, keep himself in the limelight if you will. That's what famous folk do.

I suspect he's running (pardon the pun) out of money.

An identity crisis, sounds reasonable to me, not being your true self all your life must put a huge strain on you.

Having, to my misfortune, a family member at the very heart of supplying illegal performance enhancing substances to international level competitive cyclists I am probably in a better position than many to make an informed guess as to whether Farah, or whatever his real birth name is, is likely to have been guilty or not ;) I think a lot of these rewards are really due the pharmaceutical companies and the imagination of their corrupt stooges ;)
