***The (renamed) official Ogame thread***

More like playing ogame between law lectures !!! Which works out quite well actually with the time. It mean i can check if someone has scanned me now and again, while keep on eye on my res and raids.

p.s. 35k short until i research hyper space engine lvl 4 !!!!

Cool researching that now, still only have 5 cargo's though :eek: Finally have my Plasma Cannon's just as i came out of n00b protection as i planned ;)

I'll be able to build a nanite factory tomorrow, if i can save enough res up for that and manage to build it before the queue ends will it speed up the time for those waiting on the queue, or only subsequent purchases?

TWO DAYS? My first batch of 60 battleships is all ready in eight hours :D

How many ships did you build?

I am scared that i won't make it as i am over 3000 points already, raiding has been good the last 2 days. got so much metal i am literally finding ways spent it. I really want plasma guns too, i worked out that if i have about 500 missles, 100 or so for lasers, and 50 gauss/ion and 10 plasma. It takes a LOT to overcome that, but i am a long way off, and 5 of the farms i've been hitting the past 2 weeks just disappeared ! Need to find some fresh meat.

EDIT - arghhhhhhh 1700 to go !!!!

Currently: 2 days 10 h 01 m 29 s

Building 20 battleships and a whole host of other stuff was already in the queue. Nanite factory within a week i hope though :).
 
right im back in the game boys... after taking time out for leaving work and getting hammered... then spending a day working on the car today sorting it out with an induction kit and degreasing the engine bay... looking better ;)

so yeh, expect my points to start rolling in over the next day or so, hopefully i can catch up on lost points :D... plan to be joining Sole and Loctus and Fizz :D

Doesn't work that way :p

I saw 10 destroyers parked on a planet and promptly took them all home in bits :D

I suspect I'd have a few more points if I hadnt ended up destroying 4 colonies in 4 days - after getting a few 200+ i've managed 4 sub 50s in a row :(

destroyers combines with other ships would be the stuff... but 2bh if i found 10 or even 20 and could sim it in a way that i could take them down... well they wouldnt be there in afew hours <¬ .¬>
 
You shouldn't worry about coming out of noob protection so much its not like everyone will suddenly raid you. As long as you are not a good target you will get left alone.
 
just remember to fleet and res save when ever your offline and check your verview page every 45 - 60 mins... that way you can last minute fleet save or just msg the guy and tell him by the time his ships there there wont be anything there worth him having

got a nice msg back off the guy saying fair enough and he recalled :)
 
I've been staying quiet lately building battleships ;) . I now have 50+ battleships and launched my biggest raid to date. Will have well over 1million resources once my fleet returns. All I need now is a nanite factory as it takes 2h 30min to build battleships :(

That is of course true, but I reckon for every player like you (and me for that matter) who'd do that, there's at least 5 who'd see a destroyer and back off, worried that I might have a big fleet of them somewhere and would send them all at him if I felt like it.
 
Really starting to get into this game now. Managed to add 2000 points to my score in 2 days. Really getting raiding sorted. Just keep spending it on ships instead of trying to get more research :(

Just send out my first fleet crash attempt so I will see how it goes.

I like to add a small group of destroyers to the battleships. It really can shift the battle :)

That's what I may do if things are looking tight on a battle. I have enough res to build another 10 of them now, so don't know whether to do that to put some into research. Decisions decisions.
 
Well, I've just ordered another 4 Destroyers, level 8 shielding tech, and 10 large cargo ships. With the res coming in, I'll order another 19 battleships to take me up to 150, and maybe some more large cargos too.

Speaking of res coming in, after days of frustration finding good targets and having them fleet save on me at the last minute (the cheek!), I finally came good when 6 attacks on 6 seperate targets all paid off, bringing home about 1.3mil res. I'm a happy camper again.
 
Can someone scan 3:300:5 for me and get his research levels. Would do it myself but fleet slots taken up

EDIT - If you've got recyclers near me send them there to get there in about 2hrs 5mins and you should get a nice DF.
