The highest lvl sensor phalanx was lvl2!

Scanned from the home planet of course - Checked the members scores too... One was at #124, but the rest were of a lower score.
So, might be moving the fleet in shortly, with a quick detour at a certain SS full of juicy planets...

1140 small lasers is breakfast for destroyers. 10 plasmas as backup isn't. Damn. You'd lose quite a bit there, even if you could smash through, I don't know if it would be worth it without a top fleet.

I wanted to try a new approach :)
Wasn't for it for me in the long run though, so I'll change tactics now. As soon as IRN finishes in two days.

My original approach was to use l.cargos and a few cruisers to raid people. However after a few recent attacks I decided that its time to fight back :). People are trying to use my home planet as a farm and as a result I have shut down all the mines moved my fleet far away.

Im now hiding out, slowly building myself up. I plan to destroy the person who was farming my main planet. I have located his 3 main colonies and I plan to strike him soon. Revenge is sweet. :D

Oooh sounds good :D I havent as yet been turned into a farm, but after my manic raiding over the last few days, my days are numbered i reckon! I have some fool sending 1 light cargo my way atm, hits in about 15 mins. But i have 250 missile launchers 20 gauss cannons, 20 ions 100's small lasers and 50 or so heavys. I've told him not to waste his time, and he doesnt answer. Last message i questioned his sanity...

I checked him out and i could beat him pretty easily. Strange thing is he probed me, saw my res (i have a HELL of a lot out atm, damn nanite factory) probed me again lost some probes, then sent a probe to attack me :confused: now a light fighter? What is he getting at?
 
after haveing a buddy list request from some one that thought i was someone else i have now recieved a ingame message from DrZoidberg

i used the name dr zoidberg because it is my forum name and the system allowed it so ihave no plans to change it especially from someone with such bad spelling and who shouts NOW at me,
i have tracked him to the alliance DOOP that has 11 members, so im not going to worry about them either for now unless any one knows other wise.
i am just going to send a polite reply saying thanks but no thanks im not changeing.
what would anyone else do?

I'd tell him to go jump personally, I wouldn't change my name for anyone.

Edit: Be careful though, he is ranked 806 overall. If he gives you any trouble I'm sure someone can have a quiet word in his ear ;)

Edit2: Doop are ranked 21st overall, with an average point score of 100k each! Maybe you should be polite and tell him why you chose your name, and you're keeping it.

most probably a new player and when his probe didnt show any of your defenses he thought he'd send something out (might not have a cargoe handy but it is a bit odd

I second that
If he tries bullying you into changing it then just report him - it's not as if he was being original with that name anyway since it's just copying something else

As for saying you're not a futurama fan just because you choose to be in an alliance with your friends (online friends at least) i don't see that's any of his business.
The DOOP Dr.Z is only a couple of systems from me - we'll give all these small-number/high-score allainces a damn good kicking when we get spacestations don't you worry :)
