Some guy has message me telling me to back off because he is joinning honor. He's in 1.403 name is Pompey blue, i don't know how he's joinning them as his stats are a bit naff. Think he's telling porkies?

EDIT, he's just probed me !

cba, jsut in case, i've pulled the fleet back now.

tell him you wont attack him when hes in honor. until then its tough.

hmmm dont know about the forum though.

Don't think it's worth it, was for about 20k of stuff anyway. Been farming the guy for the past week so i'll just move on to some other meat.

That's the one i've left alone, but the other 6 in the system i've almost cleaned up. All the planets has he (i) next to it, hence i've been hitting it. Was waiting til i get a substantial fleet and then hit his main one. Guess that aren't going to happen anymore

yep mate - i think they call them ACSs

They will allow up to 5 players to combine up to 16 fleets in total that will stay docked above one planet

should make things very interesting for alliances

tell him that if honor want a second-rate player like him in their alliance then they're not the quality players they are reputed to be

if he leaves res on planets or fleet for crashing then i don't think many alliances would really blame you - of course if you're farming him you may get a "request" to stop if he does infact join Honor

also if his planets had (i) next to them he would have been inactive at the time (only takes a week of inactivity these days) - if you look now i expect the (i) will have gone

He's joining Honor? Tell him his alliance won't like him joining just to hide behind their name. For bonus points, message the Honor guys about it

Tell them some moron is trying to use them in your quarrels. They'll settle the issue.

I know Rebel would advocate ripping him a new one for using their name for no other reason...

I'm really struggling with my output. I've got an excess of metal and quite a bit of Deut but next to no Crystal. I find myself in this position more and more.

Good job I've got a planet either side of me available for plucking, but its still not great. Slowing down my production big time.

When you were a lowly 314 points (ranked 4638 of 6412) what was your crystal output? In comparison to 1594 metal is 753 Crystal massively short? My crystal mine is level 12 (currently being upgraded) and my metal mine is level 14.

I usually keep crystal two levels behind metal. I effectively create half as much crystal as metal. In the early game it does become a problem, but you'll find you will go through "phases". For me, for instance, when I was at 500/1000 points I had a hell of a time finding deuterium, and then metal was the problem, and so on. Basically it depends on your long term goals, and what you're working towards getting.

True. Guess I'm just impatient. It'd be easier to wait if I had a lack of all resources, but seeing an excess of one and a complete lack of another just makes it more annoying

The guy "threatening" you is noob protected to me, so he's not got much to back that up. For war to be declared, both parties have to agree on it I believe, so I think he's just trying to warn you off. Whether you back off or not is up to you. I know what I'd do though.

Thanks davey just wanted a bit of confirmation. Well my ships are called off for a day anyways, reasons i cant be bothered to go into, that'll give him sometime to collect some res for me.

One thing though the guy thats threatening me im not particulary scared of. But the first dude (although inactive) has a moon. Hes been inactive for aggggggges though, thats why i started hitting him, hopefully he doesnt come back, if he does, well as i said, he has a moon!

I've deleted the msg now, i'll wait a week or so. Built up my fleet and if he's still not in any alliance, I am hitting him big time.

Don't worry about the moon. I just scanned it and while he does have a sensor phalanx, he has no fleet hidden there, and not much res. If he does come back online and has a go at you, let me know, I'll soon destroy whatever fleet he builds.

I'm not that scared of him, cause ive seen his techs, i think he just got lucky and got a moon really. But i know if i really **** him off, he'll be watching my fleets go in and out all day and work out my browsing habbits etc.... Basically he'd have the upper hand! *note to self build death stars and destroy his moon*

Oh and i'd never noticed you could scan and attack moons, feel like a n00b!
