The rise and normalisation of OnlyFans

I follow a girl on insta, who started onlyfans while being furloughed. She's a normal girl from Yorkshire. No nudes, just more like corset wearing and **** like that. She makes about 5k a month as a normal person without a huge following.

I do think you need to, like any business or product, to promote it though, or have a following in some way. It's just simple marketing. I think if you think you can just launch and people will find you these days, you'll be rekt.

That's amazing. As a guy I'm just envious girls have that option.

For a guy to get that on a site like that... I bet its very rare. Or extreme stuff

More power to those girls who won the genetic lottery and are conventionaly attractive.

Its a lot safer that other jobs and pays more.

I don't agree with how much people are willing to spend for some weird reason to see boba but its not my money :p

It's really (really really) not about conventional attractiveness in this case. Firstly, it's about body and not just face. But also it's about what content you produce and that is down to your actions and your tastes/boundaries etc.

Dressing up as a cute anime maid with a wig and cat ears, and pulling faces to the camera... Not much about conventional looks there but it sells :D

these I presume?? not a huge fan of American cars, but i could celebrate these beauties, but i could understand those finding it innaproriate in the modern world with global warming ;)

I didn't realise "tranny" was found to be offensive.. Its just short for transsexual, which is what the person I was referring to was.

Don't see why Google should be promoting this on their front page, when there are an infinite number of things more suitable and worthwhile of showing on their front page.

What kind of moron doesn’t know it’s an offensive term. If you’re going to be offensive to people, at least own it.
No doubt you call the local corner shop unsuitable names and claim it’s not offensive.

Me apparently. :D

I have never heard the term used as an offence before. No idea what you mean by the local corner shop either.

A guy could get on there and have a good following. Just dont expect it to be women.............

I never realised how prolific only fans was were it not for this thread. I guess I've been living under an internet rock for a bit.

Sex and fantasies sell. End of. The countries or cities that legalised things like prostitution prove it. However it's a full time job, and it's not just a couple of clients a day that will pay the rent. So I guess the online world is easier to market as you have access to a larger audience.

I personally don't mind the sex industry, it doesn't make me embarrassed or find it immoral. However I probably have a different experience than a lot of people surrounding it, but most people I know in my social circles other than some more strict religious friends all feel quite ambivalent about it.

If people are willing to pay for some virtual fantasy experience then all power to those that are willing to do it. It's probably safer online than it is in person as you dont have to worry about STDs or violence etc...

However I think people are foolish to think that it will answer all their financial problems. I think the fact NHS staff at turning to that indicates a larger problem. Some may be doing it because they want to of course but I doubt that's the majority.
IMO, the issue isn't a question of morals it's a question of how our society evolves if this becomes the norm for upcoming generations. Is this really how men should view women and personal relationships?

Personally, I don't think it's either healthy or acceptable to view women as sex objects and nothing else.
